Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.

Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Great couples trip

I enjoyed my stay that cabin was amazing. The only issue was with the stove. The only option was to broil because there wasn’t a burner at the bottom to bake and that messed up one of our nights to eat in. That was the only issue other than that the cabin was great!

Great stay

Cabin was beautiful, very clean and well kept. When we arrived the downstairs fire place wasn’t working, but the management team sent someone out and it was fixed within the half hour. The lower level pull out bed was broken so we had to pull the mattress off and sleep on the floor, not a big deal but would have been nice to know. Also, there is not a restroom on the main level, just upstairs and downstairs, which also isn’t a huge deal, just took us by surprise. Overall this cabin was nice.

Winter Getaway

As usual we had a great time in the Smokies. Bear Cub Lodge was a greatcabin and fit all our needs. No maintenance problems at all and cabin was clean. It snowed while we were there and Cade’s Cove was absolutely beautiful.Can’t wait to go back..

Great House, Subpar Stocking

While the house is cute and has wonderful fire place and hot tub, and lots of space and fun games like fusball, packman and pool - we were very disappointed in the kitchen. The only measuring cup had all the markings worn away, I literally couldn't use and I was hosting 15 people for many meals. The can opener was so old and took us like 30 min to us. Also there were no seasonings, no salt and no pepper. This was also very upsetting because never in 10 years of doing house rentals have these basic things not been included. I saw that people are threatened if they leave seasonings that they will be billed cleaning charges- this is ridiculous. People should be able to leave their seasonings so future people have the benefit of those, or the company should stock the house. Also there was barely any toilet paper, we had to go out and buy more, nor was there a first aid kit. For how expensive this rental is, it is shocking the management company would nickel and dime over salt and toilet pepper. Also the comforters are so thin they are like sheets, we had to call to get extra blankets. They did get those and a space heater to us very quickly though which was a positive. However, at a vacation rental geared towards winter, it is surprising the bedding was also so subpar. This house could use some real investment, it would pay off in the long run. We would definitely return if we knew these issues were addressed

We do not charge guests for leaving seasonings in the cabin, this is simply not true. We would appreciate any feedback on where you saw this, but again, absolutely not true. We do not provide any grocery items at any of our cabins, this includes salt and pepper. This information is provided in your confirmation emails, along with on our website in an effort to make sure our guests are prepared. We are sorry if this was overlooked. Information is also included letting you know a starter supply of toilet tissue, paper towels, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, soaps and laundry detergent is supplied. This is in no way meant to last throughout the stay. We do this as a courtesy in case the information was overlooked and our guests are not prepared. We were not aware the measuring cup and can opener were not up to par, as these items were not mentioned during your call. We include a glass measuring cup, along with a full set of individual cups and spoons for your use during your stay. If we would have known, these items could have immediately been taken to the cabin. As you experienced first-hand, we provide 24/7 guest assistance and are always happy to assist our guests. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment and hope you were able to enjoy your time in light of these issues.

Mansion in the woods

Great Stay! Would Recommend!

Our stay was perfect. We loved this cabin. The only issue we encountered was a rotted out rocking chair on the deck. As soon as my dad sat in it, the legs fell off and he fell on the deck. The maintenance guy was great though, he came over right away and grabbed the chair and checked all of the other ones too! My kids especially loved the movie times we had using the 9ft projection screen.
