Description

Who says you can't have it all? When you stay at Bearway to Heaven, you get the quiet and privacy of a secluded mountain hideaway, but it's also less than a 15-minute ride to the restaurants, shops and entertainment of downtown Gatlinburg. Charmingly furnished, with such amenities as an outdoor hot tub and an indoor jetted tub, the log cabin is ideal for a romantic getaway, but it also has a loft sleeping area, complete with pool table, that makes it equally well-suited for a family vacation. In short, Bearway to Heaven just may be the perfect vacation rental!

Bearway to Heaven appears delightfully rustic from the outside, perched atop a ridge looking out onto the Smoky Mountains and over treetops. While the interior is decorated in a classic cabin style, it's also rich with modern conveniences. The living room, for instance, features a large flat-screen TV with Blu-ray player above the gas fireplace. When you ease back into the leather recliner or stretch out on the roomy sofa, you can take advantage of the free Wi-Fi as well as the stunning views outside the numerous windows.

The kitchen has its own share of amenities, from full-size refrigerator to dishwasher and microwave, not to mention all the cookware and tableware you'll need. There's also plenty of storage, so you can stock up on groceries at the beginning of your stay and not have to waste precious vacation time running back and forth to the supermarket. Bearway to Heaven also has an outdoor charcoal grill, offering another option should you develop a hankering for barbecue chicken or want to grill the trout you reeled in during the day's fishing trip.

Speaking of outdoor amenities, wait until you see the hot tub on the back deck. Perfectly positioned to take in views of the mountains and the seemingly endless sky, the tub will have been drained, sanitized and refilled prior to your stay. Relaxation is guaranteed! After your soak, maintain the laidback vibe by sitting back on one of the deck's rocking chairs or sharing the adjacent glider with that special someone-or with your little ones as you read them a bedtime story.

Back inside on the main level, the bathroom includes a jetted tub, perfect for that quality quiet time first thing in the morning, before bed, or just about any other time! This bathroom also has a washer and a dryer, another added convenience you're sure to appreciate. Now you can pack light and even return home with a suitcase full of clean clothing; having to run loads of laundry as soon as you get back from vacation is such a buzzkill!

The primary bedroom on the main level includes a king-size bed and a flat-screen TV. The loft level has its own sleeping accommodations, with a queen-size bed, a second full bathroom, and perhaps best of all, a pool table! You may find yourself hoping for a rainy day just so you have an excuse to stay home and shoot some pool. But feel free to chill out at home even if it doesn't rain-it is your vacation!

Finding things to do is no problem when you stay at Bearway to Heaven. As well as the attractions of downtown Gatlinburg, you're just a quick ride away from the Greenbrier Park entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, home to waterfalls, hiking trails, historic cabins and some of the highest ridges of the Appalachian range. Also nearby are Dollywood, mini-golf, white-water rafting, golf courses and the list goes on and on!

All of this and the beauty of the Smokies is right outside your door when you stay at Bearway to Heaven. If you're vacationing with other couples but want separate accommodations, Bearway to Heaven can be packaged with nearby properties, such as Dreamweaver, Majestic View, Naughty by Nature and Seneca, in the same Laurel Highlands community.

So, what are you waiting for? Book your stay and start planning your perfect vacation today!

Lovin’ bearway to Heaven

Very peaceful. Very “homily”. Loved the scenery, hot tub, the feel of the cabin.

Almost perfect

To start it was a very nice cabin. Only a few minor things that can easily be fixed to make it a 5 star cabin in my opinion. The worst thing is the hot tub has a leak. You can see the wood has started to rot and sag some from the weight since it sits out on the deck. Like I said. Should be an easy fix but looks like its been like that a while for the wood to start to sag and rot. Could turn into a major hazard soon. The next thing would be the shower heads have terrible pressure and are very tiny so about 6 square inches of ur body gets hit. Kind of like a water hose with no nozzle on it. For the daily price you could atleast get a nice shower head. Also the drains are clogged in the tub and the water rises quickly up your legs as you shower. Again should be easy fixes. This probably cant be fixed but the driveway has not been friendly to small or low riding vehicles I assume. There are scratches in the pavement of the road and the driveway probably due to the steep angle of the road and having to go slightly uphill at an angle to get in the driveway. Glad I was driving my lifted truck and not my new vehicle. Ok sounds like alot of bashing of the place but it was a really great place and could be even better with the small amenities upgraded a little bit. The view is great even though the best view is from the upstairs bathroom window. The next day after we grilled out we came back to the grill knocked over im guessing by a bear. Never actually seen all of one but caught one in the distance(luckily) through the trees but couldn't see much of it. The bed was comfortable with medium firmness. I slept well on it for 5 nights. Only 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and maybe 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge. There is a golf course 5 minutes from the cabin that was very nice as well.

Christmas Getaway

With it being just the two of us, it was the perfect size cabin. Great for a landing spot, away from the hustle and bustle.

Relaxing

Great! Cabin was very clean. We saw a bear within an hour of arriving!

Clean & Cozy

Overall, considering the age of the property, we had a good stay. The bed was very comfortable; bring your own pillows. We cooked all our meals because of COVID-19; cookware needs replacing. We had to call maintenance for a leaky sink & no internet signal. Both issues were resolved promptly & courteously. We were somewhat disappointed that the view was not as expected based on an outdated photograph. The trees have grown up partially blocking what is certainly a beautiful view! Cabin was very clean when we arrived. While an older unit & worn, the hot tub was clean.

Great Views

Was very nice and had great views, only complaint was the water pressure.
