Host Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.
Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

If you choose to cancel or not use your reservation, the SmokyMountains.com Service Fee is always non-refundable.

Stunning views
We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay. The cabin was very comfortable, well maintained and had wonderful views from every window. The only difficulty we had was finding the property from the directions we were sent. We finally had to go to a visitors center to get assistance. The directions were way too complicated for someone unfamiliar with the area. After going to the visitors center, we headed out and realized we had left our directions from Elk Springs Resort at the center. We called and left a message with the resort. They called back quite quickly, but we were just driving up to the cabin at that point.We enjoyed driving Cade's Cove and hiking some of the trails in Smoky Mountains National Park. We had beautiful weather throughout our stay, so we were very fortunate.The only other suggestion we would have is to give a brief explanation of how to lock the door when leaving. It took us a bit of time to figure it out.

Awesome Stay!
The cabin was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We've never been here before and were skeptical as to how it really is compared to the pictures online. It was even better being there in person. The mountain view you can see from almost everywhere in the cabin was breathtaking! We came as a family with boys who love to play video games. We have agreed before coming here that this trip will be tech-gadget free. We thought it will be a struggle (specially with my husband) but we all had a fun and relaxing stay. Another concern before was security particularly that it mentions when booking that the cabin is not in the main property. The cabin is not as isolated as we thought it would but still offers a lot of privacy. We had an awesome stay that we're already planning of doing it again next year. ??????

Great Getaway in a Great Cabin
Had a wonderful stay in Above the Tree Tops from Elk Springs Resort. I've stayed in their cabins on multiple occasions and they've never disappointed. Loved the convenient location just 15 minutes from anything you want, in a resort setting near other cabins which made us feel safe and not totally isolated while still having complete privacy and beautiful mountain views. The cabin was perfectly clean, especially the bathrooms, not a mote of dust in the huge jacuzzi tub, which was my favorite feature of the cabin. I've already recommended it to friends and plan on coming back for another visit soon!

Just what we needed!
I struggled with renting a larger cabin over this one for my husband, teenage son and me for Christmas and happy we went with this one. It was cozy enough that we all didn't get lost in our own space and we interacted more as a family. The listing didn't mention it has two full baths which was awesome since the one bedroom is on the lower level & the sleep sofa is on the upper level. One full bath per level was awesome! The cabin was just as pictured and not too much clutter like some. It was windy our 1st night and the rocking chairs on the porch kept rocking so my husband and son said the ghost of Christmas past and present had joined us and when the wind blew hard the plexiglass moved, but nothing broke so the cabin is built for the wind. The check-in and out process was super easy and convenient and I loved the fact that there was paved road all the way up to the cabin. I've stayed in others where it was off-road and was happy this was not even though we drove our suv this time! The cabin is among other cabins (cookie-cutter) so not isolated without neighbor's if you're looking for that. We enjoyed it because it's also fairly close to the main thoroughfare and all the activities and shopping. We could hear our neighbor's outside on their porch talking and laughing but we didn't mind it, it was Christmas and everyone seemed happy so it made us happy!

Beautiful Views!
My family and I had an awesome stay at Elks Springs Resort on Legacy Mountain. We are from Florida and truly do not get to see the beauty that is on display in TN. We loved our cabin and all of its amenities. The only issue we had was the mattress on the pull out sofa - very old and no support. That being said, that is all we could complain about. The cabin was clean, well maintained and the staff was responsive and caring.
