If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.
Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.
From checking in to checking out, we loved our stay. The cabin was everything you see in the pictures. So quiet and peaceful. Our kids cried when we had to leave. Will definitely stay here again!Would recommend to others? Yes

Wine Glasses no Corkscrew??
Just a few comments, a dozen wine glasses no corkscrew.The mainfloor toliet needs repair, continues to run. We had an amazing time in the Gatlinburg area and at the end of the long day it was nice to get out of the crowds and relax in a quiet space.Would recommend to others? Yes
We certainly appreciate your feedback, Dan. It is regrettable that you experienced any issues during your visit. We do provide corkscrews in our cabins. However, it is possible that a previous guest may have taken off with it and our housekeepers overlooked it. We are truly sorry for this. Please keep in mind, we do offer 24/7 staff assistance and are happy to bring you anything you need and/or address any repairs that need to be addressed. Please do not hesitate to call us. We choose this cabin, and paid a premium, for the media room. We wanted to watch football games during the weekend and this room looks great on the website. What they don't tell you is it ONLY PLAYS DVDs. No cable, no streaming, nothing but DVDs. We were very disappointed. Also, the floors on the middle and top floors are very load. They squeak with every step. Once anyone is up, it's hard to stay asleep.Would recommend to others? No

In an attempt to avoid confusion, we do send out emails prior to arrival making our guests aware that the home theaters do not have outside connections and offer only the DVD setting. We certainly apologize if there was a miscommunication. We are truly sorry if the floors were an inconvenience. I am very sorry about the lack of a sound barrier inside the cabin. Most cabins in this area are built this way. Please bear in mind, these were meant to be vacation homes and not to be lived in, so this is why they were designed this way. It was definitely not our intention to disappoint you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
The cabin was located at a great location to get away from all of the crowds witch was wonderful after a long day. It was centeraly located near grocery store, shops, gas station, restaurants, and just a few short miles to down town.Would recommend to others? Yes

A great place to escape in the mountains

water in the hot tub could be cleanerWould recommend to others? Yes
Thank you for your business and for your feedback. We want you to know that all of our hot tubs are drained, cleaned and sanitized before refilling with fresh, clean water before every check in. Our housekeeping staff takes a photo to show that this has been done. They send the photo back with a time and date stamp on it showing the empty and cleaned hot tub prior to refilling it. The resort has city water and it is always clear. For future reference, we want you to know that we welcome the opportunity to correct any issues you have during your stay. Just simply call our Customer Service department to report your problem and they will send a staff member out to correct it for you right away. Elk Springs Hilltop Hideaway
The cabin was amazingly beautiful. The view as well. We did have a few minor issues that were dealt with ASAP through a cabin visit and phone conversation. The cabin was spacious and clean.Would recommend to others? Yes

Comfortable but convenient
The cabin was quite comfortable for us with 3 kids in tow. It was convenient to Gatlinburg and in a quiet 'neighborhood' of other cabins. There were a few things that we think needed to be addressed in order to make it a more enjoyable stay. Our fireplace would not stay lighted. Apparently the previous guest had issues as well. Someone came to repair it but the problem continued. (Contacting the rental company involved a bit of time on hold or leaving messages). While the media room is a great idea and a favorite area for our kids, it only works if you bring your own dvds or make a run to RedBox. At the very least have the ability to watch TV on the projection screen or movies on hand. Or possibly inputs on for the many devices people have now like Apple TV, fire stick, etc... we would consider staying her again with a few improvements.Would recommend to others? Yes
Thank you for your input, Jason. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. As for the media room, we do appreciate your feedback. We have had cabins with dvds in them for our guests, but they always end up getting broken or the guests take them home with them. We have had several projectors and electronic equipment "fried" by guests that take it upon themselves to undo the connections maintenance has set up and hook up their own equipment. This results in wasted time by our maintenance staff for call backs to fix all of this wiring back to its original state. Also, many of our cabins don't have an unlimited data supply to allow for streaming of Netflix, etc. This results in guests being very disappointed that their internet is slow or non-existent due to a previous guest using up an entire month's worth of data during their short stay. Due to all of these past problems, we made the executive decision to only allow dvds brought or rented by the guests to be played in our theater systems. We do apologize for any inconvenience with this policy, but it has cut down on damages to our electronic equipment considerably. Great Family Cabin!
We loved staying at this cabin. It was very clean and the family loved using the theatre room, pool table, hot tub and sauna. It was our mini spa! Would definitely stay here again. The only issue we had (and it wasn't really an issue) was the pilot light would not stay lit on the fireplace so we didn't get to use it.Would recommend to others? Yes
