If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.
Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.
I have been coming to vacation in the Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge area on a regular basis for the past ten years, and I have to say that this experience has been, by far, the worst. The driveway to our cabin was gravel that had not been packed down, which no one bothered to mention. This made getting to our cabin extremely difficult. The next morning came with a leak from the upstairs bathroom into the main level bathroom, which almost caused my 87 year old grandfather to slip and fall. That night came with me discovering stains on our king sized comforter (which looked suspiciously like blood), and maintenance bringing us a 2nd comforter, which was a queen and also dirty, and a 3rd comforter, which was still a queen. All of this occurred around 10:30 at night, when I would have much rather been sleeping. The towels were dingy looking, and like sandpaper, the rain showers over the jacuzzi tubs were completely ridiculous and not practical at all, the dresser in the upstairs master is in horrible shape (I was scared to touch it for fear of it falling apart), and the WiFi was a cruel joke. When I spoke with a woman at the management company our second night, in reference to our comforter issue, I was very clear with her about all of the inconveniences we had experienced. I never received any sort of communication from management asking about our experience. The whole situation left the impression of complete indifference. There will never be a circumstance where I will use this management company again, and I would certainly never recommend them to anyone.Would recommend to others? No
House was clean and beautiful. Our Overall experience was really nice. There is not a lot of insulation and can hear almost everything from 2nd to 3rd story. The upstairs bedroom king bed is squeaky and so is the floor. The upstairs tub was leaking down into the 2nd floor bathroom but they came and re-caulked it.Would recommend to others? Yes

Most cabins in this area are built this way. Please bear in mind, these were meant to be vacation homes and not to be lived in, so this is why they were designed this way. I have to be honest the pictures on the web site and the actually resort omg it is ten times better in reality, super clean and just beautiful. only complaint i have was that the road was not paved but the place itself beautiful view of the mountains. it gave my grown children time to relax hike and reconnect.the resort staff stay in contact with you for all your needs and return your phone call immediately. loved it.Would recommend to others? Yes

We enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Hideaway despite a few issues. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated, but we did have to call for light bulbs upon arrival, and then the shower on the third floor leaked water into the second floor bathroom which meant that we couldn't use the shower in that bathroom during our stay. Kind of a bummer. Otherwise the cabin is very nice and has a lovely view of the mountains.Would recommend to others? No
Hello Kathryn: We are very sorry you had a couple of issues with your stay. We wish you would have informed us of the shower leak when you were here. Often times, this is a result of someone not putting the shower liner inside the shower during use resulting in the water running across the floor and down to the level below. Upon you reporting this at checkout, we immediately sent maintenance to look into this and they ran both of the upper level showers for several minutes and it never leaked. Unfortunately, this just looks like a case of a human error. We did get the light bulbs out to you right away. Sorry for the oversight of them not being replaced prior to your arrival. It was noted by housekeeping, but maintenance hadn't had a chance to get there yet. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and we hope you will return for a future stay with us.

From checking in to checking out, we loved our stay. The cabin was everything you see in the pictures. So quiet and peaceful. Our kids cried when we had to leave. Will definitely stay here again!Would recommend to others? Yes

Wine Glasses no Corkscrew??
Just a few comments, a dozen wine glasses no corkscrew.The mainfloor toliet needs repair, continues to run. We had an amazing time in the Gatlinburg area and at the end of the long day it was nice to get out of the crowds and relax in a quiet space.Would recommend to others? Yes
We certainly appreciate your feedback, Dan. It is regrettable that you experienced any issues during your visit. We do provide corkscrews in our cabins. However, it is possible that a previous guest may have taken off with it and our housekeepers overlooked it. We are truly sorry for this. Please keep in mind, we do offer 24/7 staff assistance and are happy to bring you anything you need and/or address any repairs that need to be addressed. Please do not hesitate to call us. We choose this cabin, and paid a premium, for the media room. We wanted to watch football games during the weekend and this room looks great on the website. What they don't tell you is it ONLY PLAYS DVDs. No cable, no streaming, nothing but DVDs. We were very disappointed. Also, the floors on the middle and top floors are very load. They squeak with every step. Once anyone is up, it's hard to stay asleep.Would recommend to others? No

The cabin was located at a great location to get away from all of the crowds witch was wonderful after a long day. It was centeraly located near grocery store, shops, gas station, restaurants, and just a few short miles to down town.Would recommend to others? Yes
