Located in the heart of Sevierville, TN off the beaten path from all the hustle and bustle of attractions in the Smoky Mountains, Sevierville City park is a small park that offers plenty fun for the entire family to enjoy. Whether it’s a picnic enjoying the lovely area, getting your feet wet in the splash pad, playing a game of ball in the ball fields or simply watching the kids climb all over the Mt. ton of Fun playground, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Let the kids burn off some energy at Mt. Ton of Fun, the play area that features learning and play components for all abilities and ages. It incorporates play that addresses the five important developmental domains, including sensory, physical, communication, social-emotional, and cognitive. Kids of all ages are sure to enjoy this inclusive play area, and there’s plenty of nearby seating for parents.
After all the playtime on Mt. Ton of Fun, head on over to the Family Aquatic Center, which features a pool and a splash pad area where everyone can cool off on those warm Tennessee days. The pool is large and available to park visitors for a small fee.
If your family loves being active, there are plenty of other great amenities to enjoy as well at Sevierville City Park. Enjoy playing a game of tennis on the tennis courts, play some basketball, or take everyone on a walk along the walking trails down by the beautiful river before having a picnic. Picnic shelters are available so you can enjoy a picnic out of the sun, and covered pavilion rentals, group rentals, and even swim party rentals are available from the park with reservations.
The family aquatics center offers some great concessions if you and the family need a snack along the way. A few of the concessions available include:
Nachos with chili
Dip N dots
For those with pets, there is an off-leash dog park available where your favorite pooch can burn off some energy. The dog park also separates small dogs from large ones for added convenience, and agility equipment makes the park fun for dogs. They’ll have a great time running around, and they can enjoy the rest of the park too while they are on a leash.
To make use of the pool on-site or to buy concessions, you’ll probably want to bring some cash with you to Sevierville City Park, although the rest of the park is free to enjoy. Ball fields are also available if you want to bring equipment to get a game of softball or baseball going. If you don’t want to dive into the pool, you can still walk down the trails and enjoy dipping your toes in the lovely river that runs along the park.
