Farmer’s Burger Barn

If you are looking for a cheap McDonalds burger with its fast service, there is one a skip, hop, and jump away. However, if you are craving a high-quality, hand-crafted burger and willing to pay and wait for it, you are in the right place.

Farmer’s Burger Barn is located in Gatlinburg a brief, five-minute drive from downtown. The super-hip building is barn-themed and features an on-site microbrewery, bar, and plenty of seating.

At Farmer’s Burger Barn, you can create a true burger masterpiece.  As you build your dream burger, you can choose from three types of bread, various meats, six kinds of sauces, and a plethora of free and premium toppings. Have you ever wanted to try a burger with fried green tomato on it? No problem. That is one of the 27 toppings available.

On the right side just inside the front door, you will likely see the brewmaster working on a new batch of craft beer. The beer is affordably priced and tasty! It is available at the restaurant or four-packs of bottles to go.

Here are a few of our favorite menu items:
Onion Petals – This is a new twist on onion rings – Farmer’s Burger Barn uses small pieces of onions instead of the full ring, fries them to a crispy, golden brown, and brings them out with a tasty dipping sauce.

Boneless Wings – These aren’t that original or special, but taste too good to leave off.

Mountain Burger –
With well over a full pound of meat, this is perfect for a hungry dude after a long day hiking. This burger has two half-pound beef patties, pork bbq, jalapeno bacon, tomato, fried onion petals, cole slaw and smoked gouda cheese.

Small Batch Beer – The beer is brewed in small batches at the restaurant and can vary by season, but the Red Ryder IPA, Ginger IPA, Heather Ale, and Coffee Porter are all excellent!

Directions:
Driving into Gatlinburg from Pigeon Forge, turn left at Light #3 (East Parkway/321). Head out of Gatlinburg approximately 2.5 miles. Farmer’s Burger Barn is on the left side immediately before you get to Glades Road.

Insider Tips:
