Host Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.
Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

If you choose to cancel or not use your reservation, the SmokyMountains.com Service Fee is always non-refundable.
Unit Pet Policy
This host charges a $50 (plus tax) pet fee per animal staying in pet-friendly rental units. The animal type is restricted to dogs and a maximum of three dogs are permitted. In addition, dogs over 50 pounds are not permitted.
The following breeds are not permitted in cabins or anywhere on the property at any time: Pit Bulls & Staffordshire Terriers, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Chows, Great Danes, Presa Canarios, Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, Wolf-hybrids.

Family Vacation
Loved the cabin and stay had a couple of concerns nothing major but the staff was quick to get them resolved. Location of the cabin was great but didn't like the drive or parking was too steep. Didn't have any where for the grandbaby to play. Overall we loved our stay

The cabin was beautiful inside and out. We were all impressed. My husband says it was the best part of our vacation. We had 11 people in our group and everyone slept comfortably, and had enough space to move around. The only drawback was the arcade didn’t work and nobody could get the theater to work properly. Maybe an upgrade on technology would be good. But overall we had a fantastic stay.

The Smokey Hideaway
The smokey hideaway was awesome. I love all the three levels. However the arcade was not working upon my arrival and the fireball table was broken. Other than that I have no complaint and have a magnificent time outside of the city. Check in was super easy and I was able to contact customer service without much of a hold. I absolutely can not wait to return.
Great Family Trip
There were 10 family members 6 adults and 4 children. We loved this cabin and the space we had. The kids loved the arcade and the movie room. We even saw a huge black bear meandering up the driveway. The decks were nice for sitting out. It’s a plus that there is a trolley stop at the intersection of Powdermill and Glades roads. Also used the trolley stop across from food city - I think it’s the city hall. trolley stop. If there was a negative it was the steps and the one year old. We knew this could be an issue so we were prepared with portable gates. We had a great time in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and walking up to Clingamans Cove. We definitely would recommend working with the staff at Elk Springs for your vacation house. Checkin and checkout was so easy. It really was one of the best family trips - a nice change from the beach.
