The Bottom Line:

Toy Box Mini Golf is a unique, whimsical mini golf course that just opened at the start of 2021 and remains the only such golf course of its kind. This is the place to go for those who love older toys and want to experience the whimsy and wonder of playing a round of miniature golf amidst toys the size of humans (and larger!).

Are you looking for something different to do on your fifth vacation to Pigeon Forge? Or maybe this is your first time in the mountain town but want to take the family to something unique? For either case and those in between, consider a trip to the all-new miniature golf location of Toy Box Mini Golf.

Toy Box Mini Golf is located just one block north of where Veterans Blvd intersects with Highway 321 and along the West Prong Little Pigeon River. The primary draw of this unique recreation business is its themed 18-hole miniature golf course, but other on-site attractions exist, including a laser maze, snack bar, and old-school-styled candy shop.

And when we say unique, we mean unique. The Toy Box Mini Golf opened in January 2021 as the world’s very first big and old-school toy-themed golf course. By old school, think a giant Slinky stretched over one hole and life-sized green army soldiers guarding another. Each of the 18 holes in this mini-golf course boasts such unique toys and incorporates them pretty interestingly into the overall design of the greens.

The owner of this Pigeon Forge attraction states that he was inspired to open the business because of his love for his childhood toys, and how those memories of playing with things like LEGOs incited joy and wonder. He created the Toy Box Mini Golf course in order to inspire that same joy and wonder in others, to create a fun, family-friendly atmosphere in which participants might themselves become immersed in a verifiable wonderland of whimsical life-sized toys.

Toy Box Mini Golf spans over 10,000 square feet and includes, by miniature golf course standards, a full 18 holes. Each of these holes includes memorable toys and all are fully handicap accessible. Participants can opt to play each hole as-is or choose to follow the “Toy Box Style” of play which features special challenges and unique twists. This business opens both during rainy and sunny days and can accommodate groups as large as 450 — if you’re thinking of throwing an extra-large party.

In addition to the main miniature golf attraction, guests will also enjoy access to:

Laser Maze
The Laser Maze takes place in a massive room featuring neon-colored tiling and bright pink lasers jutting out in every direction. The mission of those who enter is to make it from one end of the room to the other without breaking through any of the highly sensitive laser lights. This will require balance and agility as well as speed and quick thinking. It is a fun and challenging activity, and one sure to tire out those rambunctious children and thoughtful teens, as well as adults of all ages.

Giant Toy Photo Ops
The giant toys found all throughout the park really can make you feel like you’re living in the movie, “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.” As such, this setting provides the perfect backdrop for some unique and creative photography.

Sweet Candy Shop
Stepping into the Toy Box Sweet Candy Shop is another movie-like experience. Or maybe a back-in-time experience. This candy shop is verifiably overflowing with candies of all brands, types, and shapes. So much so you might think you found your way into a real-life Willy Wonka factory.

Insider Tip:
The Toy Box Mini Golf is located in a fairly convenient location for those visiting Pigeon Forge. You will find four popular hotels within three blocks of walking distance as well as several restaurants and other attractions like the TopJump Trampoline & Extreme Arena and Tolly Parton’s Stampede.
