“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!” If your crew starts chanting this while vacationing in Pigeon Forge, head over to the Island Creamery. You won’t be disappointed.

Located in The Island, this ice cream shop is near the lighted water display and Ferris wheel. Like many shops in the area, the Island Creamery has many choices, some of which are larger than life. But, even if ice cream isn’t your favorite, there is something on their massive, two-wall menu that will satisfy you.

Let’s start with the choices for those who don’t like ice cream:

Cookie Dough
These pre-packed scoops of deliciousness are visible in the chilled display case. Your biggest challenge will be choosing which flavor you want! They offer cherry chocolate chip, cookies and cream, choco-chip, and peanut butter and coconut.

Coffee And Boba Tea
If all you need is some caffeine, you’ll be pleased to know they serve coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, and Americanos.

Boba tea lovers will want to try their Bursting Boba Tea selections. Instead of using traditional tapioca balls, the Island Creamery uses tiny juice balls. Green tea and lemonade are the two base options for your drink, while there are plenty of flavors for you to craft a unique boba tea experience.

Souvenirs
If you need a last-minute souvenir, they sell coffee mugs, bicycle nameplates, name tag magnets, and an assortment of stuffed animals.

Assorted Sweets
If none of those options sound tantalizing, then try a cookie or brownie or candy.

Now let’s explore their staple: ice cream! We need to point out that Island Creamery ice cream is homemade and comes in various flavors. Customers described the ice cream as being velvety smooth with silky richness. Aside from the standard flavors, be sure to consider java jolt, sugar-free vanilla, mocha almond fudge, and banana pudding. Of course, kids will want to try the Superman or cookie dough flavor.

They serve the ice cream in a bowl or a sugar or waffle cone. There is even a waffle bowl! If you want to immerse yourself in the sugar experience, try the waffle cone rimmed with chocolate.

Rolled ice cream is another option. After selecting your flavor, you can add sprinkles, nuts, treats, or any other options. Next, they roll your frozen treat onto a chilled surface until it’s as flat as a pancake. Then, it is scraped into cylindrical rolls and served in a bowl.

Sundaes
Aside from the traditional hot fudge sundae, the Island Creamery offers Oreo, Reeses, Brownie Mountain, and Cookie Monster flavors.

Milkshakes
The Island Creamery can churn any flavor of ice cream into a creamy milkshake, but if you want to go wild, try the Artisan Shakes. You start by choosing a mason jar dipped in chocolate, some with added sprinkles. Next, your flavor-rich milkshake is poured into the mason jar and crowned with an assortment of toppings of your choosing.

The Island Creamery offers reasonably priced treats that will satisfy any sweet tooth. Although it is often busy with long lines, the staff is attentive and friendly, which helps the line move quickly.

Insider Tip:
The Creamery is the perfect ice cream shop for those needing multiple vegan or dairy-free choices.
