If you love everything wheels, you’re going to want to check out Fun ‘n’ Wheels at least once in your life. Set right in Boone, North Carolina, this awesome venue lets you enjoy all the fun wheels can afford. You can hit the go-kart track in hopes of snagging the win. Or you might just want to bounce around in bumper cars to your heart’s content.

Kids of all ages love to ride the Ferris wheel, too, and that’s not even close to the end of it. Video games, gyro ball stations, and other fun activities land here on the regular, ensuring you can have an amazing time with the whole family. The sky is the limit in how you can enjoy the day here, although the go-karts are the star of the show, for sure.

So, naturally, the go-kart track fills out most of the space, giving you plenty of straights and corners to conquer. To ensure adults and kids alike can have the best time possible, they actually have three different types of cars to enjoy. Their basic go-karts come in single and tandem sizes, plus they have Nas-Karts available for those who have an unquenchable need for speed.

No matter which karts you choose, expect the races to last about five minutes. All along the way, you’ll get to blast down the straights, carve through the corners, and even go over the bridge. Once you’re done, you can line up for another ride or go enjoy all their other activities instead.

Top things to do here include:

Go Karts
You could probably spend all day piloting the go-karts around the track in hopes of getting the fastest lap times. The karts are simple enough for the little ones to drive, but the course offers technical challenges designed to keep adults busy for hours.

Bumper Cars
Bumper cars are always a blast when you want to throw around your weight and dominate the field. You’ll just need to buckle up and set your sights on your target before trying to blast them across the arena with your tiny car. Just be ready to get the same treatment as your fellow competitors aim to dish it out as well.

Kiddie Ferris Wheel
Set right above the track, you’ll find the Kiddie Ferris Wheel featuring six fully-enclosed cars. Kids of all ages love to go round and round on the wheel as the go-karts zoom by below them. Then, they can return the favor and pilot the go-karts themselves while their fellow Ferris wheel enthusiasts take a spin.

Video Games
Arcade games can fill in all the games whenever you want to get out of the sun for a little bit. Classic cabinet games get the most attention, although there’s plenty of claw machines on site as well. So, feel free to try your luck again and again as long as you have enough quarters to feed the machines.

Gyro
Always a fan favorite, the gyro lets you strap into a fun contraption that turns you into a bouncy ball of sorts. Once you’re all set, you get to roll all around at a steady pace while trying to stay in control of your trajectory. No worries if you get discombobulated – their team is always ready to halt your wild ride.

If you arrive on the right day, you can support the local community by purchasing candy and more. The racetrack often hosts charity events for the Boone Civitan Club and other organizations focused on improving the community. Want to make sure you arrive on the right day? Just call the track ahead of time to find out about the next charity event.
