Description

A 3-story log home that can sleep up to people, Mountain Seduction has everything you need for a fun, relaxing vacation: beautiful views, proximity to local attractions, and amenities including a hot tub, a pool table, and foosball.

Mountain Seduction’s 3 decks look out over the trees toward the Great Smoky Mountains. You can enjoy the views from deck rockers, a swing, or a large picnic table. Weather permitting, you might want to eat all your meals on the deck: The singing of wrens and warblers is the perfect background music, and the crisp mountain air makes even peanut-butter sandwiches taste special. The most luxurious way to savor the view, however, is probably while soaking in the deck’s hot tub. It’s especially romantic at night, in the silvery sheen of the moonlight.

You can relish the views indoors too, thanks to the large windows of the main floor’s great room. In summer the fan that hangs from the cathedral ceiling will add a gentle breeze; in winter the warm glow of the stone-surround fireplace adds to the warm ambience of the wood-planked walls and floor, the comfortable leather couches, and the rustic yet refined decor. This is a wonderful space for watching a cable movie on the HDTV, surfing the web via the free WiFi, or playing charades with family and friends.

Also on the main floor is the kitchen, which is equipped with stainless-steel appliances, gleaming countertops, and plenty of cookware and tableware. When you’re not eating out on the deck, you can settle in at the dining table, which easily seats 6.

If you’re wondering where everyone disappeared to, check the downstairs game room. Not only does it provide plenty of space for the whole gang to gather, but it offers plenty for everyone to do as well. You can shoot pool at the full-size billiard table, play foosball, kick back on the plush sofa to watch TV, or have a go at the PlayStation 2.

The game room also has bunk beds, making it a bedroom as well. It won’t take much convincing for the kids to make this their bedroom—though we know plenty of adults who would love to sleep here as well!

Of the 2 “official” bedrooms, one is on the main floor and the other makes up the loft level. Each includes a log-frame king-size bed, a TV, and a ceiling fan. The loft has a sitting area as well, with a trundle daybed that can sleep 2 more people. Two futons and 2 sofa beds throughout the 3 floors can sleep another 8 guests as well.

Each floor has its own full bathroom, and the loft bathroom has a bonus: a jetted tub. After a day of hiking, horseback riding, or chasing the kids throughout Dollywood, a long, lazy soak is just what your weary muscles will need. Mountain Seduction’s other amenities include a washer and dryer, so you can pack lighter than usual.

Be sure to bring your swimsuit if you’re visiting in the summer, though. Mountain Seduction is located in the Black Bear Ridge Resort, which has a seasonal outdoor pool and a large poolside patio for lounging in the sun afterward.

Another advantage of Black Bear Ridge Resort is its convenient location. In less than minutes you can drive from Mountain Seduction to 2 alpine coaster rides; minutes will take you to Pigeon Forge Parkway, home to the Titanic Museum, WonderWorks educational amusement park, dinner theaters, go-kart tracks, and more. The wildlife, wildflowers, and waterfalls of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are less than minutes away, and Dollywood is just a bit farther.

When you stay at Mountain Seduction, you can do it all—and that includes kicking back on the deck with a frosty drink doing nothing at all. Book your stay today, and get ready to make fun-filled memories that will last a lifetime.

Our Stay

Great view, the cabin was a bit noisy as you could hear everyone walk and talk on every floor. The drive up to the cabin was quite steep and tricky but overall a great place to stay.

Horrible cabin!!

This was by far the worst cabin we have ever stayed in. The hot tub was so loud we couldn’t talk to each other on the deck, we had to fix the foosball table, the pool sticks were impossible to play with, the front 2 burner knobs on the stove were broken, it was a cabin that sleeps 16 people & had 3 old wooden chairs on 3 different decks, the was no light above the dining room table, the showers were horrible, the sink in game room bathroom didn’t drain & the toilet ran constantly, the trundle bed under the daybed in the lift bedroom was broken. The only thing I can say good about it is that it’s in a good location. We paid way too much money for that cabin & will never rent from that area again. We are people that are gonna make the best of what we have, so we had a good time regardless. However, if we hadn’t had 2 handy men & a roll of duck tape it would’ve been much worse!!

Nice cabins, needs some work though

The cabin itself was really nice, however there weelre several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The tub was not clean and we found several hairs in the bathrooms and beds. Foosball table was clogged with balls, only one usable pool cue for the pool table, and not all of the stove burners were functional

Very disappointed because of the money we spent.

In the beginning when we walked in the house looked very nice but when you took a closer look the carpet somewhere not vacuumed under the beds were so much dust you could write your name in it and the beds were at least 6 to 8 inches off the floor there was broken glass from a window that had been hit or shattered from the third-floor the glass was trails all through the house it looks like it hadn’t been vacuumed. In the bathroom vanities people had left used towels and garbage underneath that was not removed. The lower level TV wouldn’t even turn on no matter what we tried. The main level TV would come on but it would only stay on about two minutes then the screen would shut off but you could hear the show still. The main floor bedroom TV was in Spanish and I tried taking to English and had no idea how to change it. The only TV that worked properly was the one in the upstairs loft area and it was the smallest TV. There was body hair left in just about every bathroom and toilet paper stuck to a plunger in one bathroom. The dishes were put back in the cabinet and drawers and I took them out because they had to be re-washed they still had food stuck to him and you could see lip marks on the glasses. I pretty much had to clean everything before we could even stay there. Made me question if the sheets were even changed. In the hot tub there was still sequins left on the bottom so I questioned that if that was even cleaned all the way.
