Christmas Tree Cabin

This beautiful, spacious log cabin is in a private, gated community, located on a mountain wildlife preserve. Enjoy watching turkeys, rabbits, colorful birds, and more while enjoying breakfast on the deck, overlooking views of Mount Mitchell. With 3 outside decks available for your enjoyment, two of which are covered, there is no shortage of outdoor seating. Two large great rooms, 2 dining areas, a spacious kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms prove ideal for groups. Sheets and towels are provided for your convenience. Above the garage is the game area which includes a Smart TV (streaming only), a ping pong table, a foosball table, an air hockey table, and cornhole. No cars are allowed in the garage. House Layout: Main Level: Living room with TV (Roku + YouTube TV) and wood stove; dining table seats 4; Kitchen table that seats 6; a bedroom with a full bed. Upper Level: Bedroom with a Queen bed, full bath, and Smart TV (streaming only). Lower Level: Bedroom with a King bed; Den with a Smart TV (streaming only); Full bathroom (shower only, no tub). Please note: Christmas Tree Cabin is pet friendly and will allow one dog under 25 lbs. with an additional pet fee. Homeowners will provide a kennel and request its use when guests are away from the home and leave their dogs unattended. Christmas Tree Cabin does not allow candles on the property. Guests should not bring any onto the property. The living room TV is equipped with Roku which includes popular streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and Peacock along with YouTube TV which includes local news channels. During the colder winter months, icy and/or snowy road conditions and delayed snow plow operations are possible within the development. From December through March, please come prepared with AWD or 4WD vehicles. We also recommend travel insurance for those staying in the Gateway Mountain development during the winter months. No parking is allowed on roadways or at gate entrances. No RVs, boat trailers, camping trailers, or trailers of any kind are permitted in the Gateway Mountain Community.
