Welcome to Knot Appropriate Beech House! This newly remodeled home is located near the Beech Mountain golf course and convenient to skiing or mountain biking. The top parking spot has perfectly level entry to the front entrance. Inside, you'll find the kitchen to the right with brick flooring and a drip coffee maker. The entry opens to the living room with vaulted tongue and groove ceilings. A fireplace with a wood stove insert awaits a cozy fire after a day of exploring Beech Mountain or nearby Banner Elk. On the main level is the King Suite with cable TV and a charming claw foot tub and showerhead. The bath opens to both the bedroom and the entrance hallway. Upstairs is a loft with a Queen sleeper sofa and a streaming TV. Downstairs you'll find two bedrooms and a second full bath with a large shower and the laundry center. A Queen bedroom and a bedroom with two Twin beds await, each with cable TV. The front deck offers charming rockers on the covered deck. On the back of the home is a deck with chairs, a porch swing, and a gas grill. There are mountain views that expand in the winter time. Located in the side yard is a fire pit with seating. Additional notes: - CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. - Located at over 4,200' elevation, this home does not offer air conditioning. It does have a heating system for winter. - Guests of Knot Appropriate Beech House have the option to purchase a temporary membership to Beech Mountain Club during their stay. Please inquire for details. - Pets are welcome for an additional rent of $25/night each. Mature, trained dogs, only, max of four - Firewood for the wood stove insert in the living room or firepit outside may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. - The main roads are paved and plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access the property in times of snow or ice. The drive has one parking spot on the flat pull off, and room for 2-3 cars on the gravel driveway that dips below the walkway. - Guests returning to the home may receive a discount of 5% to the rent, not to be combined with other discounts to the rent. ​​​​​​​- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am. - Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. - Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. - No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. - Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. - No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time.
