A Tranquility Den #210

Tranquillity Den worked for what we needed but would not stay here again. The cabin needs updated, appliances are old, showers are small, water pressure is poor, there are 2 sofa pull outs but only one set of sheets, no extra pillows or blankets. Not much view. We made it work but would not recommend this cabin. :(

It worked for what we needed but was a little disappointed in the view, or lack there of, and the overall cleanliness could have been better, the appliances were old. There 2 sofa pullouts but only 1 set of sheets and no pillows and the pillows on the beds were super thin and worn out. Showers are very small and water pressure very poor. We made it work for the t I me we were there but would not choose to stay at this cabin again. :(

Not very impressed in the way the cabin looked. Lots of cobwebs on the porch and when entering the cabin. There were things that need some attendance within the cabin and one two things got taken care of and when they fixed the blinds they left some screws on the floor. Hot tub was low with water and no water hose to fill. Left the old heater from the hot tub in the hot tub. Needed some TLC prior to our arrival and wasn't done. Soiled (filty) mattress on one of the pull out couches. Company was informed and they one fixed two things out of the list we gave them.

We felt disgusting the whole time we were there. Upon arrival we started LOOKING around the cabin. I pulled OUT varIOUs items which turned in to a horror story. Ths cookie sheets below the oven alONG with the pots aNd pans were covered in mouse poop. The bowls and coffee cups had not been washed and were filthy. My wife and i immediately took comforters completely off the beds and threw all of the sheets in the washer. The whole time we were there it was an erie amd disgusting feeling. There was 0 relaxation bc we were scared to sit down anywhere in the cabin. DONT RENTWHEN YOU PAY 300 A NIGHT IT WOULD BE NICE TO EAT SOME MEALS IN. NOT HERE. I HAVE A 4X4 TRUCK AMD AT TIMES THE STEEP HILLS WERE HARD FOR ME IF THERE HAD BEEM ANY RAIN. MY TIRES ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. I WOULDN'T RECCOMEND THIS CABIN TO MY WORST ENEMY

The cabin was secluded, which is what we wanted, but the road was on pretty bad shape and was very steep. Our cars spun out a few times driving to it. The mattresses on all the beds and sleeper sofa were not comfortable at all. There were mouse drippings in the kitchen and laundry area... and you could hear mice running through the night! The couch coushins upstairs never would stay in place, they rode off every time you sat down. We didn't spend much time there besides at night to sleep, but will not choose this cabin again.

This was my 1st and last time renting here. The cabin's location is a nightmare. We couldn't find it easily. Nothing is marked properly. The view was great and it is a beautiful cabin, however, it was disgusting! (I have pictures to prove it.) The bed linens were NEVER changed. They were soiled AND had a child's underwear and shirt inside the foot end of the already made bed when we went to get into bed the first night. Mice droppings everywhere, dust, insects, the windows were not cleaned, counters were filthy, and the porches were not swept. There were no vacuums, brooms or things for us to clean up after ourselves with. This was a cabin intended for many guests (we had 5) and the table only sat 4, LR furniture only sat 4 as well. Pull out sofa bed had the most nasty stains on it. I had my son sleep on the couch itself which was very uncomfortable. There is what appears to be a video camera located at the hot tub area. This was not disclosed to us and we felt it was an invasion of our privacy. This cabin has potential with the right company managing it for the owners. RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
