Description

Looking for a place to stay while in town for a tournament at Rocky Top Sports World? Or a cabin large enough to host a family reunion? Your search is over: Celebration Lodge, a four-bedroom home that can sleep up to eighteen people, is less than a mile from Rocky Top and offers plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained.

The spacious, sunny great room makes up most of the main floor. There's plenty of space for everyone to spend time together, even while doing his or her own thing. The living area's well-cushioned seating invites you to kick back and watch a favorite program on the flat-panel TV, surf the web (Celebration Lodge has free WiFi) or finally read that book you never have time to crack open at home. In winter you'll love warming yourself by the fireplace in its stacked stone surround.

The adjacent dining area has a large log-style table that can serve as a place to play board games when you're not enjoying a home-cooked meal (or leftovers from the previous night's restaurant meal). Once you see the open, well-equipped kitchen, you might find yourself eager to get cooking. Sparkling stainless steel appliances, plenty of cookware and tableware, gleaming countertops, a log-style island: Celebration Lodge's kitchen has it all.

If you're wondering where everyone disappeared to, check the downstairs game room. Maybe the kids are watching a movie in the home theater area, which features nine cinema-style seats (you may never want to visit your local movie theater again!). Perhaps the adults are shooting pool at the full-size billiard table, or maybe kids and adults alike are playing foosball. You'll never be bored at Celebration Lodge!

If your friends and family are amusing themselves in the game room, this might be your chance to slip out onto the deck for a private soak in the hot tub. The combination of steamy jets of water, crisp mountain breeze, and the singing of warblers in the morning or whip-poor-wills at night is a true feast for the senses. You can also savor the sights and sounds from one of the deck rocking chairs. Bring a beverage, settle back, gaze out at the sun-dappled trees... relaxation is practically guaranteed!

Celebration Lodge has four bedrooms and four bathrooms spread out among its three floors. The top floor consists of two suites. The primary bedroom is a bastion of serenity, with a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and an electric fireplace to bathe the wood-planked walls and ceiling in an enchanting golden glow.

The second upstairs suite is more like a sleep-away camp for the kids. With a pair of queen-size bunk beds, it can accommodate up to eight people. There's also a flat-panel TV, a private bathroom, and a bistro table where the kids can snack, draw, or play board games.

The main floor and downstairs each have a bedroom of their own, with a queen-size bed and a flat-screen TV, as well as a full bathroom. If you need more beds, the sofas in the great room and the game room open into additional queen-size beds.

There's so much fun to be had at Celebration Lodge, you might want to spend most of your stay right there. But then you'd be missing out on all the attractions just minutes away. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, for instance, is a must-visit: You can hike or bike its trails, fish, ride horses, and explore waterfalls and historic cabins. Also close by is downtown Gatlinburg, which boasts the Guinness World Record Museum, thrill rides, an aquarium, restaurants, and more. Pigeon Forge, home to Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, outlet shopping, and other activities, is just a few minutes further.

Whether you like to be on the go or prefer keeping it low-key, you'll love Celebration Lodge. Don't take our word for it, though: Book your stay today and experience its pleasures firsthand.

Nice cabin with minor issues.

The cabin was tucked away in Gatlinburg, but not far from the hustle and bustle. From the beginning we noticed some minor issues, that should be updated/fixed. The microwave cover was hanging, the pipe behind the tub on the third floor master bath, was busted and when the shower was used, water leaked all the way down the the bottom floor. Called maintenance they couldn’t fix it so they called a plumber. Which was fine with us. By that evening the tub was no longer leaking. The pool table in the game room is literally falling apart, makes for playing pool a slight pain, but it was doable. We still played and still had a fun time. The air conditioner on the middle and top floor never worked. But with it being cool outside, we just opened the windows and let the cool air in that way. It wasn’t a bother, but you expect these things to be checked before you have someone come into the rental. Like I said minor things. That’s why I gave four instead of five stars. I’m sure had we called about the air, they would have sent someone out, just as they did for the tub, however with being in quarantine we really didn’t want a lot of people coming in and out. Which brings me to my next point, we booked early February, before this virus was out of control and actually named a global pandemic. When we tried to cancel due to stay-at-home order, the company only offered us a 50% refund, which was a joke because it wasn’t cheap! We spoke with other rental owners in the hills and they had given full refunds to anyone that canceled due to the severity of the situation. We didn’t want to lose out on that money, so we went and stay the week. 95% of everything was closed, which is another reason we wanted to cancel. We were able to drive the foothills twice, which was beautiful. But we would have liked to cancel so we could have enjoyed our time more once everything was back up and running. Postponing was not an option due to my husband and my own job. Very disappointed they would not give us a full refund. This isn’t something any of us have ever dealt with before, giving a full refund would have been the more professional/considerate thing to do. Even with all of this said, we enjoyed our time. Communication with them is very easy. Anytime I called they answered quickly and were quick to fix the one problem we called about, with the exception of letting us cancel. We will not personally ever stay with this company again, due to not being given the option to cancel and get a full refund.

Not the cleanest!!

My family and I love it. However, the cabin needs a deep cleaning. Cobwebs on light fixtures, debris in all corners and between the fridge and counter. Shower curtain liners should be changed regularly, they were dirty. Linen on the bed would not stay tucked. Overall experience was great, will return!!

Beautiful big cabin

The cabin is large with 3 floors where everyone has their own space. Sofa beds are uncomfortable and hardly count as a place to sleep, so sleeps 14 comfortably. Parking for 4-5 cars doable. Quality towels and beds, huge bunk beds for the kids. Game room excellent for occupying kids, big hot tub. Overall, great cabin.

Weekend May 2019

Overall very nice, but some cleanliness issues and for a pet friendly property, grassy areas were not very accessible.

Smokey Mountain Vacation

I cabin was in a great location. The direction to the cabin could have been better. My greatest disappointment was that the kitchen was not clean. The fronts of the refrigerator, dishwasher and range were dirty. Also we found hair on pillowcases. We used pillowcases in sealed packages for the sofa beds. Otherwise the rest of the cabin looked clean. We enjoyed the stay and it was fun having the pool table etc. to entertain the kids.

Anniversary Celebration

I need to let owners know about some things that need fixing. Fan in bedroom in lowest level. Blinds on one window in lower level. Bathroom lights over shower in upper level baths. Vacuum cleaner bad was overflowing. No way it could clean anything. Dirt on floors when we came in. Need new couch. Need more seating. We had 12 people and need room to sit. Refrigerator grill full of dust. Beds comfortable and in good shape.
