Description

Looking for a place to stay while in town for a tournament at Rocky Top Sports World? Or a cabin large enough to host a family reunion? Your search is over: Celebration Lodge, a four-bedroom home that can sleep up to eighteen people, is less than a mile from Rocky Top and offers plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained.

The spacious, sunny great room makes up most of the main floor. There's plenty of space for everyone to spend time together, even while doing his or her own thing. The living area's well-cushioned seating invites you to kick back and watch a favorite program on the flat-panel TV, surf the web (Celebration Lodge has free WiFi) or finally read that book you never have time to crack open at home. In winter you'll love warming yourself by the fireplace in its stacked stone surround.

The adjacent dining area has a large log-style table that can serve as a place to play board games when you're not enjoying a home-cooked meal (or leftovers from the previous night's restaurant meal). Once you see the open, well-equipped kitchen, you might find yourself eager to get cooking. Sparkling stainless steel appliances, plenty of cookware and tableware, gleaming countertops, a log-style island: Celebration Lodge's kitchen has it all.

If you're wondering where everyone disappeared to, check the downstairs game room. Maybe the kids are watching a movie in the home theater area, which features nine cinema-style seats (you may never want to visit your local movie theater again!). Perhaps the adults are shooting pool at the full-size billiard table, or maybe kids and adults alike are playing foosball. You'll never be bored at Celebration Lodge!

If your friends and family are amusing themselves in the game room, this might be your chance to slip out onto the deck for a private soak in the hot tub. The combination of steamy jets of water, crisp mountain breeze, and the singing of warblers in the morning or whip-poor-wills at night is a true feast for the senses. You can also savor the sights and sounds from one of the deck rocking chairs. Bring a beverage, settle back, gaze out at the sun-dappled trees... relaxation is practically guaranteed!

Celebration Lodge has four bedrooms and four bathrooms spread out among its three floors. The top floor consists of two suites. The primary bedroom is a bastion of serenity, with a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and an electric fireplace to bathe the wood-planked walls and ceiling in an enchanting golden glow.

The second upstairs suite is more like a sleep-away camp for the kids. With a pair of queen-size bunk beds, it can accommodate up to eight people. There's also a flat-panel TV, a private bathroom, and a bistro table where the kids can snack, draw, or play board games.

The main floor and downstairs each have a bedroom of their own, with a queen-size bed and a flat-screen TV, as well as a full bathroom. If you need more beds, the sofas in the great room and the game room open into additional queen-size beds.

There's so much fun to be had at Celebration Lodge, you might want to spend most of your stay right there. But then you'd be missing out on all the attractions just minutes away. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, for instance, is a must-visit: You can hike or bike its trails, fish, ride horses, and explore waterfalls and historic cabins. Also close by is downtown Gatlinburg, which boasts the Guinness World Record Museum, thrill rides, an aquarium, restaurants, and more. Pigeon Forge, home to Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, outlet shopping, and other activities, is just a few minutes further.

Whether you like to be on the go or prefer keeping it low-key, you'll love Celebration Lodge. Don't take our word for it, though: Book your stay today and experience its pleasures firsthand.

great

This rental was excellent. Because I read previous reviews we brought a banquet table and extra chairs as the kitchen table only seats 6.I also brought extra pots and pans. It was very hot so we had to spend most of time at the houseinside and not on the decks. The bedroom were very comfortable. Our only problem was because we had a large group the 2 garbage cans were inadequate. We called the property manager and they sent someone out to pick it up. I was sorry there was no ability to recycle . Overall our stay was excellent

Very nice and spacious cabin..

Very nice and helpful people to deal with. Not one thing I didn't like about the cabin. Actually, this is the 2nd time we have stayed in Helmlock Hills because we like the clean, spacious cabins, and the location.

Smokies

We enjoyed the cabin, we had 6 people that ended up on the trip. Since the cabin sleeps 16 people, seating was not set up for that many people. Couch and chair, picnic table for 6 people. Our group could not all sit and watch a movie together. If you had 16 people it would be for mainly sleeping. When cooking, pan size was not for large groups of people, had 2 small frying pans and a medium size pot. Plenty of glasses and dishes.Air on main level must need maintenance, did not keep the unit cool, lower level had it's own unit and was cold. Main floor door onto the deck needs adjusted, hard to lock door, had to pick up the handle.Overall we had a very nice time, we played games at the table. Opened windows if hot. Made do with what pans were available. Enjoyed the shops along the trail and how convenient location was to grocery and town.

Celebration Lodge Review

Our experience was quite wonderful. The cabin was very clean and nice. It is located about five minutes away from a grocery store which was very convenient. Most amenities were provided. Would recommend if you have a large group to buy paper towels and extra toilet paper and such. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. Overall, we had a great stay at Celebration lodge.
