- The SmokyMountains.com Local Expert Team

The Park Grill, which is located on the main Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg, is a staff favorite for dinners out and company lunches. This restaurant provides a true Smoky Mountain atmosphere, quality food, and excellent service.

The one-of-a-kind building was created from reclaimed stone, dead-standing spruce trees, and reclaimed metals, and is the handiwork of artisans. The end result is a 340-person restaurant with exposed logs, cathedral ceilings, and a luxurious yet rustic feel. Using only locally sourced ingredients, the menu celebrates Southern flavors and Appalachian traditions. From mouthwatering steaks to fresh savory seafood, The Park Grill in Gatlinburg is a must-try when visiting the area.

Here are a few of our favorite menu items at The Park Grill:

Salad Bar
The salad bar is included with all dinners (even kid’s meals!) and has over 40 items. Some of the items include mozzarella balls, smoked oysters, real bacon, and pickled okra.
Southern Pecan Chicken
Park Grill takes a new angle on a Southern classic. Instead of your typical batter, the pecan breading is crunchy and sweet. Do yourself a favor and ask for extra buttery cream sauce on the side.
Moonshine Cherry Beef Kabobs
The chef marinates filet tips in moonshine and pineapple juice to give the beef a local flavor. The eight ounces of filet tips are paired with red onions and cherries. Yummy!

Insider Tips:
-During peak hours, use the call ahead option to greatly reduce (not eliminate) your wait time. A quick phone call an hour or two before dinner will typically cut your wait time down to 15-20 minutes.
-The Park Grill offers plenty of free parking, which is a rarity in downtown Gatlinburg. However, on busy nights, the lot will likely be full. If this is the case, park across the street at Crockett’s Breakfast Camp (in front or behind).
