- The SmokyMountains.com Local Expert Team

Mountain Brook Vineyards always warmly welcomes all guests through their doors in anticipation of sharing the fruits of their labors. At each visit, you can spend your time touring the vineyards and winery or lounge in the tasting room to try all their fabulous creations. Or you can zip out onto the covered patio to relax fireside while listening to live music of all kinds.

The sky is the limit in how you can spend your time here – and they are always happy to have you swing by. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can expect a friendly hello from the staff, who always seem to remember your name. They can often recall what drinks you ordered at prior visits and are happy to introduce you to the newest offerings on their menu.

All their creations start with the grapes grown across their seven-acre vineyards and often feature other types of fruit sourced from all over the globe. In addition, they use time-honored winemaking practices to create each bottle of red, white, and rose wine.

If you’re curious about how it all goes down, you can take a tour of their vineyards and winery any day of the week. Then, you’ll want to settle in for a taste of the top wines on their menu, plus a few delicious snacks as well. If you’re lucky, you can catch local musicians playing live or grab an awesome meal from the food trucks that swing by regularly.

Treat yourself to their:

Flight Boards
If you’re not sure what to order, treat yourself to one of their four self-guided flight boards. Each flight comes with four 1.5-ounce pours of their top offerings. You can go with an all red or all white flight or get a mix of the top wine varieties made in-house.

Red Wines
Their red wines are available by the glass or by the bottle and span across the full range of popular reds. You can get a 2017 Pinot Noir with cherry and black plum flavors or elect to try their blackberry-rich Cabernet Sauvignon.

White Wines
For a lighter touch, go with their white wines instead. Of all the options, the 2017 Chardonnay is the most popular with its full range of bright citrus and rich cream notes. If you’re not sure what to order, just ask the server for their recommendations.

When the weather cooperates, they regularly roll out outdoor games, like cornhole and horseshoes. They’re also known for hosting movie nights to keep everyone well-entertained as the evenings grow longer. So, make sure to bring a blanket so you are prepared to grab a spot close to the screen whenever the movies start rolling.

Insider Tips:
-The vineyard is a little off the beaten path, so be sure to watch for signs directing you to the parking lot as you make your way here.
-As you drive up, watch out for their old farm dog. This friendly pup happily greets all the guests and keeps everyone company as they relax in the outdoor areas.
-If you plan to chill on the outdoor patio or by the firepit, feel free to bring your dog along for the trip. Just be sure to keep them on a leash at all times and pick up after them during your stay.
