The Bottom Line:

The Sevierville Bowling Center is a newly-updated bowling alley in the heart of Sevierville. They aren't known for the most stellar customer service, but the convenient location and top-notch lanes make up for those deficits. An on-site concession stand serves up snacks, and reasonable rates per game or per hour make it a budget-friendly choice for a rainy day or an afternoon with friends.

It’s hard to beat an afternoon or evening of bowling with family or friends. Put the phone down, enjoy some retro music, and make memories while doing your best to knock down a bunch of pins; what could be better? Possibly doing all of those things with some chips or soda in hand.  If you’re looking for a place to spend the afternoon or evening, Sevierville Bowling Center is a fantastic family-friendly option. Expect a clean, well-maintained facility, great lanes, balls, and pins, and a well-stocked concession area to fuel each game.

Sevierville Bowling Center boasts newly updated lanes and an automated scorekeeping system. Individual users can even set their bumper preferences for each game, and graphics on the automated boards offer tips on how to pick up spares. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. The rental shoes are also remarkably clean and new; no smelly, well-used shoes of questionable origin here.

Although some visitors report that the staff aren’t always as attentive and polite as might be desired, that doesn’t typically affect the experience, simply because the facility itself is top-notch.

You won’t break the bank while bowling here, either. Prices are very reasonable, whether you opt for a certain number of games or an hour or two on the lanes. Concessions are also very reasonably priced, especially compared to concessions at comparable recreation-type locations in the area. Traveling with a large group? You can rent a few lanes for two or more hours, or even book the entire facility. There are limits to the number of players on each lane.

For a particularly memorable adults-only outing, head to the bowling center on Saturdays between 7-10pm for “Cosmic Bowl.” You’ll be met with glowing lights, great music, and a great time. It’s hard to beat going for a great score in an atmosphere that feels like a fun party.

Hours vary somewhat depending on the time of year because the center hosts bowling leagues each week. It’s a good idea to double-check their availability before you go, but in general, open bowling hours are available Monday-Saturday.  Sevierville Bowling Center is also closed every Sunday, but they open at 11am on weekdays, making them a great choice for a rainy day in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area.
