Head to Monstermash Burgers for an experience you won’t find anywhere else. Featured on the Food Network thanks to its one-of-a-kind menu items, Monstermash caters to everyone–but fans of monster lore and urban legends will be particularly enchanted by the decor and unique offerings. At Monstermash, chefs craft each burger from high-quality cuts of brisket, short ribs, and sirloin that are ground in-house; the results are hamburger patties brimming with fresh flavor and superb texture. Sausages and hot dogs are also thoughtfully created and cured in-house; expect a flavor explosion that the youngest members of the group will love just as much as the more gastronomically discerning.
Monstermash’s menu is crafted with an eye for creativity and unexpected flavor combinations. Although the monster theme will color your entire experience, the food itself is the showstopper. An expansive mac and cheese menu, a huge variety of burgers, and well-crafted side dishes and hand-spun milkshakes beautifully set off the entrees. The result? A one-of-a-kind dining experience that some travel miles to experience.
Our Menu Favorites:
Phantom Italian Burger
Some of the best phantoms of all time have an Italian twist, and so does this mouthwatering Italian burger. The burger is crafted from the in-house Italian grind and topped with pancetta, fried garlic, mozzarella cheese, bruschetta, and truffles–then completed with shaved parmesan cheese and basil pesto and served on a pretzel bun.
Vampire Chorizo Burger
Add a little spice to your plate with this burger. Chefs pair the house grind and chorizo to create the patty, then top it with muenster cheese, truffle mayo, lettuce, smokey relish, and fried garlic. It’s all served on a classic, house-made brioche bun.
Killer Mac Creations
Expect your mac & cheese to be served up in a cauldron, garnished with your choice of finishing touches. Some mac & cheese options serve as an entree on their own; Dracula’s Steak Mac and Cheese, for instance, includes beef brisket, grilled sirloin, bacon, sauteed onions and peppers, queso and other melted cheeses, and even fries. Wolfman’s BBQ Mac and Black Lagoon Seafood Mac are both fan favorites as well.
Monstermash Burgers is located just across the parkway from Sevierville City Park. The location–a corner store in a strip mall–doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the atmosphere in the dining rooms more than makes up for it. It’s a convenient family-friendly stop after a day of exploring the Sevierville area.
– Making a trip just to eat at Monstermash? Unlike most burger joints, this one accepts reservations, so don’t hesitate to call ahead.
– Want to take a date? Monstermash is working on a private dining area for couples–with decor featuring true monster classics we all grew up with–so you can enjoy the monstrous experience in a quieter atmosphere.
– Save room for ice cream. The hand-spun milkshakes are both excellent and unique. Chocolate lovers will dive headlong into a Chocolate Reaper, but the Vampire Delight, Cookie Monster, and Grave Digger remain fan faves, as well.
