Spent vacation cleaning Aunt Bugs Cabin
When we filled the whirlpool tub and turned the jets on black stuff flew out the jets didn't use it after that. The couch smelled it seemed my wife and daughter were cleaning all week, dirt under the bedding had to wash all the of it. We called to get the trash picked up because the locked bin was full it took 2 days for someone to come out after 3 phone calls then the man knocked on the door and told us his truck was full he could only fit some of the trash. Just a bad weekWould recommend to others? No
The Stairway to Heavenly Hideaway
The road up to this cabin is in HORRIBLE shape. I so glad we had an SUV, I wouldn’t want to do it in a car! The neighboring couple at the cabin below us had a Cadillac & when they left their car scrapped the ground. That road is really unacceptable. The cabin was nice, There were lots of stairs to get up to it, so better be ready for that. The morning view of the sunrise is breathtaking off the deck. Kitchen was well supplied with utensils & pots and pans which made it nice to cook. The TV in the living room had multi colored streaks of lines running through it and the thermostat requires resetting like 2-3 times a day to keepIt cool. Alll in all not a bad place, just fix the road & the electronic items.Would recommend to others? Yes

4-Wheel Drive and Nerves of Steel Needed
Loved the cabin. Loved the wrap around covered porch. Hated the VERY dangerous drive up the one lane perilous road. We were in an F110 Ford truck and could not pull into our driveway unless we went to the top of the scary hill and turned around to approach the driveway from a somewhat better angle. We had to put rocks into the ditch to keep from getting stuck. I had asked about the road in as well as the and was told that it was moderately steep. There was a hairpin curve that was frightening. Thankfully we did not meet another car as you would have to (gasp) back up into another driveway. We tried to make no more than one trip a day out. Please believe reviews and do not believe the booking agents!Would recommend to others? No
