When it comes to luxury on a grand scale, Journey's End sets a high bar. For starters, this custom property is actually two homes: a grand main lodge and a just-as-pampering guesthouse just 30 yards away. This setup makes Journey's Edge ideal for several families or large groups vacationing together.

Then there are the spectacular views. Because Journey's End is located on the highest point of the Cedar Falls Resort, it looks out onto stunning and unobstructed vistas of the Smoky Mountains. Best of all, it offers plenty of vantage points from which to enjoy them. In addition to the lodge's huge covered porch framed with stone arches, there are multiple decks and balconies. The main patio features chaises, a dining table and a hot tub in full view of the mountains and the woodlands. A second alfresco dining area nestles beneath a pergola so that you can enjoy your meal in the cool shade. On yet another patio, there's room for everybody to congregate at night around the gas fire pit. The glow of the flames is an idyllic accompaniment to the chirping of crickets and the hooting of the owls.

You can relish the views from the private outdoor pool as well. Yes, Journey's End has its own pool! And if that's still not lavish enough for you, there's a private putting green too. Just don't let the spectacular scenery distract you!

The splendor continues indoors. The oversize windows of the main house enable you to relish nature's grandeur even while you relax among the living room's supple leather sofas or eat a meal at the dining room's table, which seats 10. Each of these rooms has its own fireplace to add to the warm, welcoming ambiance.

If you view vacations as a chance to practice your culinary skills, you'd love the main house's lavish kitchen. Gleaming appliances, top-grade gadgets and sparkling countertops in a spacious open setting make cooking a pleasure. The island doubles as a breakfast bar, with handsome twig-style stools to seat up to four people. What's more, there's a large charcoal grill outside, so that you can cook as well as dine outdoors or in.

After dinner, or any other time, you can kick back and watch a movie in the home theater with surround sound. The eight cinema-style seats are so comfortable, you might want to lounge in them with a book after the film. Journey's End has a game room too. Choose among shooting pool at the full-size billiard table, playing air hockey or hosting a poker marathon at the large game table. Prefer something even more relaxing? Step inside the home's private sauna. We told you Journey's End was luxurious!

Of Journey's End's five bedrooms, three are in the main lodge. Each of these includes a lofty king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, exquisite furnishings and views you'll love waking up to. One of these bedrooms has its own fireplace and direct access to a balcony. Of the two bedrooms in the guesthouse, one includes a king-size bed, while the other features a queen-size bed. In addition, one of the myriad sofas opens into a queen-size bed, so that Journey's End can sleep 12 people in all.

The guesthouse has its own living room, with ample cushioned seating, a flat-screen TV and a dining table for four. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and a breakfast bar that seats two.

Once you arrive at Journey's End, you won't want to leave. But as a bonus, it's within a half-hour drive of restaurants, shops and the area's most popular attractions, including the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Dollywood.

If it's pampering, serenity and outstanding vistas you want, Journey's End is your dream getaway. Make the dream a reality and book your stay today.

I was very disappointed with the company it started snowing really bad and so I called to see if anyway we could check in earlier and I was told no because of the housekeeping schedule. But I’ve stayed at lots of cabins and most of them would have called their housekeeping crew to see when they would be done and would let you know an early check-in time if possible. This cabin had not been rented for over a week but they would not allow any early check-in times! the refrigerator did not make ice , the fireplace in the living room did not work the cover on the hot tub Was ripped and the lift for the hot tub cover was broke. I’ve stayed in a lot of cabins in the Wears Valley Pigeon Forge area and I felt like this has been the hardest Company to deal with ! Very disappointed on Customer Service staff!!

Great place to relax!

The property was beautiful and spacious. We loved that it wasn’t far from town and it had a beautiful view. Our only complaints were that the master shower had mildew on the walls and the grease in the stove reservoir had not been emptied. We called the management company and they sent some wonderful people from housekeeping and maintenance to correct it right away. We would definitely stay here again.

House is beautiful, maintenance falls short.

House/property is great. Sauna/Theater Room/Chandelier didn't work at all. Laundry room roof leaks water through the light which floods the floor anytime it rains. If not taken care of, water will run out from the locked bathroom door downstairs which you have no way to get into.Sent numerous emails which were forwarded to maintenance. No maintenance personnel showed up the entire week we were here. Kitchen sink randomly gurgles as if it will overflow.

Week stay in the beautiful smokies

Beautiful home. Loved the pool and enjoyed our pool time but they need to do some landscaping. Very weedy around the pool. Also as we had large group and stayed in to eat. The kitchen was not very well equipped, no large pots, very limited silverware etc. Finally the master bedroom and dining room was very hot and did not cool properly. Theatre room is great. We were disappointed as they had issues with TVs and projector was missing Due to power surge. Called and they did get projector installed and working during our stay.

Big disappointment

House has seen better days. Kitchen is falling apart. Dishwasher falls out of cabinet when you open the door, faucet drips, microwave turner is broken, pool area is held together by silicone and overgrown grass. The water falls that don’t work are now breeding grounds for mold and mosquitos.
