When you stay at Rooster Way, a romantic hideaway for 2, you’ll feel far away from the everyday. The log cabin is located on a quiet back road in the woods. Instead of waking up to the sounds of traffic, you’ll be greeted by the chirping of chickadees and warblers. And at night, rather than being kept awake by bright lights and the blaring of your neighbor’s stereo, you’ll be serenaded by whip-poor-wills and the mountain breeze whispering among the trees.

Start the morning in your private paradise sipping your coffee or juice on the deck’s rocking chairs. Or for a real treat, enjoy a soak in the deck’s hot tub. It’s large enough for 2, so both you and your sweetie can revel in the steamy bubbles and the fresh air.

Because Rooster Way is situated between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to how to spend your day. You’re just a short drive to the Greenbrier entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which you can explore on foot, bike, or horseback as well as in your car. In winter you can hit the slopes of Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park & Ski Area and any time of year is a good one for the amusements of Dollywood, shopping in Pigeon Forge’s outlet malls, or checking out the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop. Or, maybe you want to keep things low-key and simply stroll through the woods surrounding the cabin. If you brought your dog along—yes, Rooster Way is pet-friendly!—he or she will definitely be up for that option!

Rooster Way is also close to trout-stocked Little Pigeon River; maybe you’ll manage to reel in supper! If so, you can cook it on the deck’s charcoal grill or inside in the well-equipped kitchen. Don’t be fooled by the kitchen’s compact size: It’s outfitted with all the appliances, cookware, and dinnerware you’ll need.

Once your feast is prepared, you can enjoy a private dinner for 2 at Rooster Way’s dining table, amid the warmth of the gas fireplace in its stacked stone surround. Afterward, bring your glasses of wine to the sofa and cuddle while watching a movie on the flat-panel TV; in addition to satellite channels there’s a DVD player, so you can bring a favorite romantic comedy with you.

Or maybe you want to skip the movie and head straight to the heart-shaped jetted tub for 2 for a long, languorous soak together. Especially if your muscles got a workout earlier in the day, you’ll love relaxing among the pulsating jets of water. To really set the mood, turn off the lights and bathe in the golden glow of the fireplace!

And with that, it’s time to snuggle under the covers of the queen-size bed. Because the bed is nestled by the window, you can look out at the night sky as you drift off to sleep—and in the morning you’ll wake up recharged, rejuvenated, and ready for another day in paradise.

If this sounds like the ideal getaway, why not book your stay at Rooster Way today? You’ll be so glad you did!

Highly recommend!

The cabin was lovely. What a beautiful view from the deck. The fall colors were wonderful. We did not use the hot tub as it was too cold outside for us. The bed was very comfy and we are accustomed to a tempurpedic. There is even an extra quilt in case we got chilly. Plenty of dishes and utensils although there are so many great places to eat we didnt eat at ‘home’ very often. But having a coffee maker, microwave, stove and fridge was great. We loved the pine wood everywhere. we had some trouble with the entrance code...our fault....and called for assistance. The lady who assisted us was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was well stocked with towels. It would be nice to have a safety bar in the shower as being older with arthritis that would be helpful. Also, either towel bars or more hooks, such as the 3M ones which would not damage the nice wood, would be appreciated so towels would dry faster. unfortunately, neither remote worked to turn the TV on/off or adjust volume. We had to use a chair to stand on to utilize those functions. The remote worked fine for channel changes so we assumed it was not a battery issue. The vacuum did not seem to have much suction during use. For dishes we washed then dried as the drainer under the sink looked as if it had never been taken out. Overall, we loved staying here and definitely would do so again. We also would not hesitate to recommend it t friends and relatives.

Perfect Honeymoon

This cabin was the perfect, cozy and relaxing getaway high up in the mountains! My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. We could have stayed forever! I was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful cabin, mountain view from the balcony, every kitchen appliance/utensil you would need and just the overall layout of the cabin. Truly perfection.

Rooster Way

Marginal. Overall, I would not recommend this cabin to anyone. It is in need of some severe cleaning. Came in to someone’s baked busicuits still left in the oven. The musty smell was over whelming from the moment you walk in, it never got better throughout our stay. The front door was hard to open even after putting the code in. It took several times to get it open. Also, this is listed as pet friendly but there is nowhere to take your dog around the cabin other than a grave site and garden around the grave. Which is not even but a few hundred feet from where you’re sleeping. There is no bear proof trash can as stated, not even raccoon proof. The carpet is crusty and looks like it’s never been cleaned before. The dishes/utensils all had to be re washed before even thinking about using them. We ended up buying plastic wear. The bed was very uncomfortable as well. By the end of our stay I was completely tired of looking at the out dated rooster decor. Also consider more tables on the patio deck or in the bathroom, there is absolutely no room to put anything. The heart shaped tub was disgustingly dirty, the water jets were brown. This entire cabin essentially needs an entire remodel.

Nice, quiet, tiny cabin, but I little bit expensive.

It was a nice little small cabin about 25 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. It was very quiet and peaceful, and I loved that. The cabin is tiny, and a bit expensive in my opinion. It was supposed to be 119.00 a night and I ended up paying almost 1,000$ with taxes and fees for five nights. It was a nice experience though. I didn't know what to bring since the list on the website of things provided at the cabin was not very detailed. I ended up bringing too much since I did not know what was already provided. Also the road up to the cabin was a little nerve racking since it's a one lane road going up a mountain, just a heads up. Overall, we had a good experience here! I just wish I didn't pay so much.

The cabin was as described, other than they do not tell you that you can see your neighbors deck and house when in the hot tub. Overall a nice little getaway with your significant other. 25-30 minute drive to gatlinberg and or pigeon forge. 45 minutes to the popular hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay.
