Nurture Your Inner Beer Snob at the Bruce Street Brewfest

The Bruce Street Brewfest may only be in its third year, but it’s already a Sevierville staple. Celebrating the region’s quickly growing craft beer community, this annual event attracts dozens of local brewers. Held at the Commons in Sevierville’s historic downtown district, the Bruce Street Brewfest begins at 3 pm and wraps up at 8. Sip your favorite brews while taking in live music from local acts; the experience is that much better knowing that all proceeds benefit some of the region’s finest charities.

Good Old-Fashioned Farm Fun at the Sevier County Fair

Embrace the nostalgia of a true agricultural fair, complete with livestock, master gardeners, and even a watermelon seed spitting contest. A variety of different events are scheduled throughout the fair; no matter when you arrive, you can play laser tag for free or check out the poultry show. Come hungry so you can sample the best fair food in the state, including chicken and dumplings, funnel cake, and other treats sure to bring a smile to your face.

While the Sevier County Fair largely emphasizes agricultural exhibits and traditional fair activities, a few unique elements help it stand apart from other local fairs. Chief among them? The annual cosplay contest, which attracts amateurs and professionals alike. Even if you don’t participate, you’ll love seeing the variety of costumes on display. Other unique activities include the Boy Scouts Dutch oven cook-off and KFW Wrestling in the fair arena.

Creative Crafts and Tasty Treats at the Wears Valley Fall Fest

Presented by Keep Sevier Beautiful, the Wears Valley Fall Fest highlights the beauty of Sevier County in the autumn. The festival attracts a variety of local artisans, who display everything from traditional baskets to contemporary photography. In addition to showing off their wares, local artisans entertain and educate visitors with live demonstrations.

Young visitors are encouraged to get in on the crafting fun in the kid’s tent, where they can create fall decor from re-purposed items. A diverse lineup brings rock, country, and gospel music to the main stage for all to enjoy. Don’t forget to load up on fair food; favorites include steak on a stick, homemade ice cream, fried Oreos, and gourmet candy apples.

Sheriff’s Halloween Spooktacular Block Party: A Spooky Good Time With Sevier’s Finest

Free for all Sevier County families, the annual Spooktacular Block Party provides safe entertainment on the spookiest night of the year. Hosted by the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office at Sevierville’s main jail facility, the annual event unites residents with the many hardworking firefighters, law enforcement officials, and EMS workers who serve the community. There’s no better way to trick-or-treat than alongside some of Sevier County’s most inspiring figures. This beloved event regularly attracts over 1,000 kids and parents, who impress with creative costumes and plenty of Halloween spirit.
