The Bottom Line:

This island-themed chain restaurant is fun, moderately priced, and delivers a winning atmosphere that is sure to please guests of all ages! While the food is not gourmet, it met our expectations. If you like margaritas, try the margarita flight to try a bunch of the recipes at once.

If you’re looking for a cool spot to escape the summer sun, sip back something strong, and dine on delicious eats, Margaritaville Pigeon Forge is exactly what you are looking for! This Jimmy Buffet-themed restaurant, which is located at The Island in Pigeon Forge, features good food, strong drinks, and an atmosphere that feels more like the Florida Keys than the Smoky Mountains.

The decor of the two-story restaurant is appropriate – tropical colors, Jimmy Buffet and island music playing loudly over the sound system, tiki bars, weathered woods, and even an airplane hanging from the ceiling. In addition, Pigeon Forge Margaritaville also features a concert stage, multiple bars, large outdoor dining areas, and even an oversized fire pit.

While a bit unintuitive, the Margaritaville restaurant is perfect for kids! Children under 12 have six meals to choose from and each meal includes your choice of side and a kid’s drink. Also, most kids will enjoy the energetic, loud environment and the option for three kid-friendly tropical drinks!

Some of our favorite menu items include:

Margarita Flights

What could be better than trying one margarita? Trying TONS of margaritas! The margarita flights let you try a sampling of the most popular margaritas on the menu. With a name like Margaritaville, it might be a crime to visit and not try at least one margarita…

Volcano Nachos
The order size is absolutely ridiculous – this could feed a small army. This eruption of tortilla chips, guacamole, cheese, pico de gall, chili, jalapeños, and sour cream works great as an appetizer for a whole table or meal for two.

Seafood Mac & Cheese
This Margaritaville recipe is not the mac & cheese you grew up eating – macaroni with a Boursin cream sauce, crab meat, and shrimp will put a smile on your face.

Fish and Chips
These hand-breaded, Landshark beer-battered fish tenders are perfectly paired with cilantro-lime coleslaw and golden French fries.

Insider Tips:
-On Fridays and Saturdays, avoid visiting at peak dinner times. Instead, opt for a slower weeknight, get there before 5 pm, or call (865) 210-8530 and inquire about priority seating (similar to a reservation).
-Looking to catch live music? The restaurant calendar has a schedule of all restaurant events and will help you plan your visit on an evening with music.
