"What a view. The penthouse was stunning in every way. So beautiful the color palette the layout. Just sitting on the baloney with views of mountains and at night looking down at lights of Gatlinburg. We've been to Gatlinburg many times throughout the years and this has been my favorite place. "

Nice To Be Back
Everything I hoped for and more. Have stayed at the Highlands since 2000. Our kids grew up vacationing there and now we brought them back and our grandkids. Everybody enjoyed the condo the views and the pool the closeness to town plan on coming back. in all the times we’ve been there we finally tried the Loco Burro rooftop, and Park Grill, both or great eats.
Relaxing And Luxurious!
We had a fantastic time in the two penthouse condos at Highlands of the Smokies. The views are breathtaking! Accommodations were extremely comfortable. Kids loved spending time in the pool. Temperatures of pool and hot tub very comfortable. We did the Pink Jeep tours to Newfound Gap- only thing we would change would be doing a private tour and having them pick us up at Highlands so we wouldn't have to drive to and from Pigeon Forge. Can't wait to return!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains that instantly set the tone for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation. The condo itself was immaculate—beautifully decorated, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It felt like a home away from home, only with better scenery!
Waking up to the mist rising over the mountains and ending each day with a sunset from the balcony was pure magic. The location is perfect—secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet, yet close enough to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and all the best hiking trails in the national park.
The amenities were top-notch as well. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the living area was cozy and inviting—perfect for family game nights or just unwinding after a day of adventure.
The hosts clearly care about the guest experience; everything was well thought out and perfectly maintained. Communication was easy and helpful from booking through checkout.
We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, but Highlands of the Smokies truly stands out. If you’re looking for the perfect place to relax, reconnect with nature, and make lasting memories, look no further. We’re already planning our return trip!
