Nestled within the gated community of The Preserve at Wolf Laurel, a private mountain retreat community located in Mars Hill where wildlife and plant life are abundant, you're just 30 short miles from the city of Asheville. The main floor of the cabin boasts an impressive living room with soaring ceilings, a gas log fireplace, and a television for streaming. A dining area for 6 and access to a spacious deck provide an abundance of space to relax, fellowship, and unwind. Steps away from the deck is a wood-burning fire pit that will bring out the kid-at-heart desire for s'mores. ​​​​​​​The updated and well-equipped kitchen provides all of the amenities and comforts of home. The primary bedroom with a king-size bed and en suite bathroom with jetted, soaking tub and walk-in shower is also located on the main floor. The upper level of the cabin offers two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with two twin beds, and a full bathroom with hallway access. As a guest in this community, you'll have access to the community horse stables, Village pool, tennis courts, fishing streams, and hiking trails via the Appalachian Trail (Big Bald hike is a must). Please note that Wolf Laurel Stables is open to the public and rides can be scheduled 7 days a week from 9 AM to 5 PM from mid-April through November. Off-season or after-hours rides may be scheduled by appointment. During the winter months, enjoy skiing and tubing at the nearby Hatley Pointe Ski Resort (formerly Wolf Ridge), and during the summer months, enjoy whitewater rafting, zip-lining, and kayaking. Hadleigh House's location allows you to take advantage of every season and all of the activities that accompany them! Please note: This home is pet-friendly with an additional fee per dog (max of 2). There are 5 exterior security cameras located around the property at the driveway, front porch, basement patio, back door off the kitchen, and back door off the primary bedroom. If you're having a family reunion and need overflow accommodations, Alpine Outlook is within a 1-minute drive.
