Welcome to Mount Ever-Rest, a chinked log cabin retreat with long range views located between Grandfather Mountain and Boone. This charming cabin atop the mountain feels more like a tree house! Overlooking miles of mountain views, you won't want to leave. The main level have a living room with the views, the full kitchen, and a cozy den with wood-burning fireplace. Phenomenal mountain views await on the deck. Upstairs are two queen bedrooms, each to a wing. The ceilings are open and lofted, but each room has a door for privacy. In the center is a shared full bath with a combination tub/shower. Downstairs is a second living space with a sleeper sofa and a third bedroom with a king bed. On the upper decks you'll find rockers and a gas grill, and on the lower decks you'll find a new hot tub and bed-style swing for lazing as well as a fire pit at the top of the driveway. This home is down a paved, but narrow and winding road off of Hwy 105. - Firewood may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. - Guests returning to Mt. Ever-Rest may receive a discount of 10%, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent.
