Ten Bears

The rental is beautiful! Perfect amount of space to spread out, large bathrooms, beautiful outdoor seating area with a great view. We loved watching the Ober Tram from the deck and got to see 7 bears from the cabin during our week stay. Our last night, mama and two cubs were right outside playing in the trees by the deck, and the kids loved being so close to the cubs since we could get a safe view from the downstairs sliding glass doors. Location was great and close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was a quick drive as well.

We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was beautiful, but we were quite taken aback to find that the sloped driveway, on a mountainside with no guard rails, was not shoveled or salted for us. We could not get the vehicles into the drive, and upon calling the "in case there's issues" maintenance number, we were told we arrived past their working hours (check-in is at 4pm)

After 20 minutes and 2 phone conversations, we were told to do the best we can and "there may be a bag of salt under the kitchen sink"...which there was a sandwich baggie of salt....for a 3 car driveway. it was quite stressful to be told "don't worry, it'll melt by tomorrow"...when our cars are parked in the road on a mountainside...and the only tool we had to deal with was a broom and a baggie of salt.

That was a stressful first hour and a half...and I cannot believe we couldn't get assistance, or the driveway wasn't prepared when it was known it was going to snow....

Once we finally got the van in the drive, we opened it only to have our contents roll down the sloped, icy drive--which of course was no fun to retrieve for fear of falling down the hillside....

Such a great house with lots of character. It was a perfect location not far from town at all and super close to the Ober mountain top parking. They were very responsive when we had questions.

Came to the area for a quick family getaway before my son went off to college. The cabin was great. It accommodated all 5 of us nicely and loved that each of us had a full bathroom to use. The view is lovely and the visits by the bears was interesting. We had a few hiccups but the owners were quick to resolve and very helpful.

A great last minute getaway with memories to last a lifetime.

I couldn't have picked a more perfect cabin for our stay. Ten Bears is nestled on the side of the mountain with a breathtaking view of the mountains & downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin is so very cozy & welcoming. It was very clean and accommodating. We enjoyed the outside hot tub and shooting billiards at night in the rec room. Bear Tracts worked well with us to insure a great stay. We'll definitely be returning again soon!

This cabin had the most breathtaking views ,the pictures can’t even compare. My 15 year old son & 7 year old nephew absolutely LOVED the bottom floor, which was a major win after the 10 hour drive to get there. 10 out of 10, BOOK IT!
