Maggie Valley and Waynesville have largely been spared from hurricane Helene damage and most stores and shops are open for business. Downtown Waynesville restaurants and shops are all open. Waynesville will have the Apple Harvest Festival October 19th and many other events as previously scheduled. The roads between Asheville airport, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Canton, Clyde and Cherokee are intact and open. The Maggie Valley golf club at the bottom of our mountain is intact and fully opened.
