Located on 1 acre you will be able to enjoy privacy, while only being 15 minutes from the activity of Lake Lure. This lovely 3-bedroom lake home includes comfortable details such as Knotty Pine ceilings, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining table that extends to seat 6 and much more! Spend your day swimming, kayaking or fishing at the private, community lake or venture into town for hiking, dining and shopping and more. In the evening enjoy the mountain and sunset views from the screened in porch or relax by the fireplace in the cozy living room. The welcoming primary bedroom has direct deck access which is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening drink, while taking in the mountain air. There are 2 more guest rooms on the main level, one queen and the other with 2 twin beds. Home Truths: - Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, 2024 through the first quarter of 2024(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. - Sleeps in beds: 6 - Max Occupancy: 8 - Yonder provides linens for all beds; other occupancy will require guests providing their own linens - Internet Speed: Download - 25Mbps Upload - 5Mbps - A Window unit for Air Conditioning is provided in attic space - Cleaning fee: $170 Yonder openly shares & clearly posts our Cleaning Fees in a manner of full disclosure, as we think this is the most honest and forthright approach with respect to our guests. Quiet Policy: Please note that the property is located in a very private gated community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords. Pets: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby. Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates. Please inquire for details regarding payment, the cancellation policy, military discounts, and trip insurance. Note: Reservations over 30 days are subject for review prior to acceptance. A separate rental agreement will be required for 90+ day stays.
