Nestled in a serene setting, Glade Meadow is a mere stone's throw away from the vibrant culture and conveniences of Asheville, Chimney Rock, and Black Mountain. This rustic industrial log home is set up perfectly for 2-3 families or multiple couples to vacation together. Two bedrooms, each with a full ensuite, are on the third floor. Also, on the third floor, a pull-out sofa in the loft overlooking the great room with a spectacular view of the beautiful meadow. The primary bedroom suite is on the main level with an extra-large, one-of-a-kind grotto shower and a fireplace. A fourth bedroom on the main level is perfect for the kids, with two bunk beds and a full bathroom, and an additional finished bonus room in the basement with a king-sized bed. Each bedroom has a TV, ensuring everyone's entertainment needs are met. Glade Meadow's kitchen is well-equipped with rustic industrial decor. The backsplash and lounge wall are made from repurposed metal roofing. Lighting fixtures above the island were crafted by an Atlanta-based artisan. The dining room table is by a local artist, with benches made from repurposed barn wood. The great room fireplace mantel is made from a 100-year-old church beam. The open floor plan provides a perfect atmosphere for dining, relaxing, chatting, listening to music, and creating unforgettable memories. Your kids will never be bored while staying at this house! They can enjoy playing in the meadow, splashing in Glade Creek while the adults relax on the spacious deck, or arranging a game of horseshoes or badminton. Arrowheads are known to be found along the creek bed, so keep an eye out for them. Also, be sure to look for the hidden, vintage 1900s outhouse on the property and the Serenity Point hiking trail! Glade Meadow is a private 15-acre estate just 8 miles (15 minutes) from the Town of Black Mountain, 23 miles (30 minutes) from Asheville, and 15 miles (20 minutes) from Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. The property is adjacent to the Pisgah National Forest and home to an abundance of wildlife, including black bears, deer, turkeys, birds, and many other animals. There are numerous hiking trails, streams rivers, and waterfalls in nearby Catawba Falls and Creston Community Resort. Lake Lure offers water fun and golf. Chimney Rock is simply outstanding! It provides excellent views, fantastic food, and fabulous, one-of-a-kind shopping. Western North Carolina offers some of the best mountain biking in the country!
