Welcome to Bear Claw Overlook at Eagles Nest! This three bedroom home has the luxury feel that you expect in an Eagles Nest home, along with breathtaking views of the mountains and an amazing outdoor space to enjoy them. The gravel driveway has parking for 2-3 cars and just a few steps to enter the home. You are greeted by the kitchen and shelves so you can set your things down and take off your shoes to relax as you view the mountains through the back windows. The kitchen includes stainless steel KitchenAid appliances and a Keurig to brew your favorite cup of coffee. A large granite island stands in the middle with 3 stools for dining and socializing. The dining table just beyond the island can seat 6 guests comfortably for meals as well as family game nights. All of this is open to the living room, including a gas fireplace with a digital timer on the wall for ease of use. One of the five 55” TVs is over the mantle and can be viewed from the kitchen and dining areas as well as the comfy sofa and two swivel chairs in the living room. From the living room, step outside to the partially covered deck. You can relax and enjoy the outdoors in the covered living space with comfortable cushioned sectionals and chairs, a coffee table, and another 55” TV, perfect for family movie nights. Or choose to dine alfresco with the dining table and 6 chairs on the open deck. You can also enjoy the mountain views from the Bullfrog Spas hot tub or the beautiful fire pit with Adirondacks. Relax and watch the colors of the sky or wake up early for a stunning sunrise! The main level also features a half bath, laundry center, and the master bedroom, which includes a king bed with a Stearns and Foster mattress, ceiling fan, 55” TV, ensuite bathroom, access to the back porch, and more expansive views of the mountains. The master bathroom has a large, tiled shower and double granite vanity. Upstairs are two bedrooms which share a large bathroom including a double granite vanity and tub/shower combo with tile. The bedroom across from the bathroom has another king sized bed with memory foam mattress, ceiling fan, 55” TV, and amazing views. The third bedroom is ready for family fun with two sets of twin over twin mattress bunk beds, a ceiling fan, and a 55” TV. This home is located within walking distance to the Eagles Nest Winery, UTV rental, and North Pavilion with sports courts, fields, and The Sportsman's Grille, allowing you to maximize your time in the beautiful outdoor surroundings. And it's the perfect spot to celebrate the 4th of July with festivities and fireworks historically occurring at the North Pavilion. Come join us for mountain views year round! While enjoying your stay at this home, you have access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest. Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only. CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Additional Notes: - Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night. - This home is not pet friendly for rentals. Please do not bring pets to this home. - Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.) - The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks. - The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. - Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc(dot)com - All linens and towels provided. - All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious amenities. - Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard from 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday. - Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception. - Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am - Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. - Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. - No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. - Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. - No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. - 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
