Description

Horizon's Edge is a 4 bedroom home but has an additional private sleeping area with 3 double beds and 1 twin bed. A true mountain contemporary located in the heart of the High Country, Horizon's Edge provides top-notch luxury accommodations for your large group of family and friends! The main level boasts beautiful hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, a gourmet kitchen and a huge living room! In the kitchen, the family chef will have no shortage of room while preparing a delicious home cooked meal. There are stainless steel Viking appliances, double ovens and a large island. Head over into the living room to enjoy the stunning long range mountain views. There is a large flat screen TV, gas fireplace and a back-lit wet bar in the living room as well. This open plan offers tons of room to spread out. Outside on the deck, accessed from the living room, enjoy a relaxing evening in the patio furniture. There is also a gas grill for guests to use as well. The master bedroom is simply stunning and features a wall of windows, a private deck with an outdoor shower, a Kohler Infinity tub, and his and hers walk-in shower with a separate steam room and large closets. Upstairs are 4 more bedrooms - two with king beds, one with a queen bed and a kids bunk room with 3 full beds and 1 twin bed. Each of these bedrooms (excluding the kids bunk room) is accompanied with a full bathroom. Entertaining is a breeze on the multiple decks or well-planned common spaces including the home theater / recreation room downstairs. This area features a vintage basketball floor, exercise room, and a wet bar with a wine cooler. It's the details that define this home and we can't wait for you to experience luxury living in the High Country! -The driveway to this home is paved and there is enough parking for 3 cars in the garage and 4-6 small to medium sized vehicles in the driveway. -Please note that this homeowner uses outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure their home stays safe. No cameras monitor the inside of the home or the hot tub area. -The fireplace shown in the lower level is decorative only. Do not attempt to light a fire in it. Additional Notes: - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided. - Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am - Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. - No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. - Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. - No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. - 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. - NCREC Broker Name: Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home. -CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
