Enjoy a fun-filled family vacation in the Smokies at this spacious and fully updated mountain cabin with furnished decks, enviable views, a soothing outdoor hot tub, and a small game room.
This two-bedroom home with a loft is hidden away among the trees, but close to downtown Pigeon Forge, the home of Dollywood, and the heart of Gatlinburg, where you'll find a number of unique shops, superb restaurants, and plenty of all-ages amusements.
Aglow with rich, knotty pine walls, high ceilings, and hardwood floors, this mountain cabin tastefully combines warm, rustic elements with all the modern conveniences of home.
Relax in the wide open living space with cozy leather furniture, a floor-to-ceiling electric stone fireplace, spectacular views, and easy access out to the lower-level, wrap-around deck.
This great room continues with a dining area and table with seating for six and a breakfast bar/island with four counter stools attached to the kitchen. The open-concept kitchen is a chef's dream offering plenty of prep space, a wide assortment of essential accessories, cookware, and dinnerware, as well as a full array of top-of-the-line appliances and countertop gadgets, including the all-important dishwasher to help keep things tidy during your stay.
There are two bedrooms located on the main floor: one bedroom has a plush, king-size bed while the other has a queen. Upstairs, the fully-furnished loft contains a king master suite with a fantastic, full bath that includes a Jacuzzi tub and a separate, step-in shower. This home sleeps up to six guests quite comfortably and is ideal for a family or a few couples traveling together.
This cabin is a peaceful retreat, so internet access is not currently offered, however you should have no trouble at all getting online in Pigeon Forge where there are numerous coffee shops and other WiFi-friendly businesses.
Head up to the loft and challenge one another to games of pool or air hockey on the convertible table. Keep up with all your favorite shows and movies on the flatscreen, cable TV in the living room, pull up a rocking chair on the lower-level deck and take in the amazing view, or soak your cares away in the private, outdoor hot tub located on the upper deck. And to ensure you start each and every day with a fresh, clean change of clothes, a private washer/dryer is included.
Hiking and biking trails crisscross the Great Smoky Mountains with easy-to-find trailheads all over the area. Visit Douglas Lake for boating, swimming, picnicking, and, of course, fishing! And when the snow is falling, grab your skis and head south to the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park, or take a day trip across the North Carolina border to hit the slopes of the Cataloochee Ski Area.
Reserve this wonderful woodsy cabin today and surprise the whole family with an exciting vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains of eastern Tennessee!

Traveler Reviews
Fantastic
This is our second time staying at The Laughing Salamander. Its very clean. The air hockey table was missing pieces and the dryer is not working well you have to dry a load of clothes 3 or 4 times before they dry. Other than that I was satisfied. Good location and beautiful view. How ever the grass was not cut when we got there. If my children wanted to play outside they couldn't. When we got there they lights were already on and they provide extra trash bags and toiletries that came in handy!
Great Getaway!
Very clean, spacious, and the view is phenomenal. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and we enjoyed every minute. Do yourself a favor and check-in during the day though, as navagating the neighborhood at night is very difficult due to no lighting and steep roads.
Loved This Cabin!
Definitely lived up to the pictures online. Beautiful place! It has good bones...slept like a baby!
Great Place For Vacation
This was my first experience of staying in a cabin. The interior of the cabin was really nice and pretty, and the view from the balcony was great. There were plenty of kitchen appliances so it was easy to cook and have a barbecue outside. The only thing about the house was that we couldn't find the air hockey puck so we only used the pool table. Overall, my friends and I had a great time!
Awesomeness
Unbelievable cabin! Our welcome bag was unexpected and welcomed. The cleanliness was superior and the cabin itself with the views just amazing!
Very Nice Place
The pictures do not do the view justice. Very nice place.
