Perfect Hideaway For A Family Vacation

Our family, ranging in ages from 9 to 72, loved everything about this charming cabin. It is clear that a lot of thought and care was put into the decor and amenities. You can see little bear-themed decor peaking out from all sorts of places.

The kitchen has everything you need and includes a crockpot, toaster, coffee pot, and plenty of cookware. There were even skewers under the sink that we used to roast hot dogs and make smores.

The three beds were very comfortable and there were extra blankets and pillows tucked away if we needed them. One note: the hideaway area for the little ones is in the master bedroom. Keep that in mind if you would prefer a completely private area for a couple to share.

The location is far enough out that you don't have to worry about constant traffic, but it is just a 10 minute drive over to the Parkway through Pigeon Forge and about 20 minutes down to Gatlinburg. We found it to be just the right mix of proximity to attractions with plenty of privacy.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Bid Daddy's Hideaway if we return to the area again. We loved it!

Perfect Cabin For Spring Break

This cabin really has it all. We loved everything about it. We like to cook our own meals while on vacation and this cabin has everything you need to cook/make whatever you want. The entertainment is endless with foosball, air hockey, puzzles, various other games, a fire pit, outdoor seating, a spacious yard to explore, a hot tub, a short trek down to a creek, and DVD players in all 3 rooms! The cabin was extremely clean and well organized while offering comfy beds (the bear cove was a huge hit), ample blankets, plenty of seating for our family of 5, a wood burning fireplace (much appreciated since we had snow 3 days of our stay and temps never broke above 45), as well as laundry pods, dishwashing soap and pods. The only downside is the weather was too cold for us to enjoy much of the outdoor offerings. We did take advantage of the provided walking sticks. I mean, so many things were considered while equipping this cabin. The drive in is not scary or difficult. There is a slight incline, but nothing severe. The directions were spot on and much needed as GPS steers you wrong.
My only suggestion would be to provide more towels. I did have to wash to keep up with our crew. This could probably be avoided if there were separate towels for the hot tub with an outside drying rack (just a thought).
All in all, my whole family loves it here. We cannot wait to go back and reserve this cabin. We have made many trips to the Smoky Mountains and have always stayed in a cabin. This was the smoothest, most pleasurable stay. The management company is very clear and concise with communications regarding stay, expectations, area attractions, directions, and exit requirements. No guessing games here; just top notch! Thank you to the owners of this cabin for allowing us to rent and have a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful and decorated quaintly.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

This place is a gem!! As soon as we pulled up we were not disappointed! The cabin is beautiful but yet has a very home like feel. We grilled out, played games, relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. If you book this cabin you will not be disappointed!

Thanksgiving Week Stay

Our family of 4 stayed here during Thanksgiving week, and we loved it! I specifically wanted a wood burning fireplace (which we found here) and a fire pit outside. The kids loved building fires and roasting marshmallows. The floor plan was perfect. The kitchen had an abundance of plates, utensils, cooking supplies etc. It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen because we ate at the Cabin quite a bit. Lots of extra blankets and pillows were provided, which was a great help on those winter nights. We also enjoyed the hot tub outside on the back porch and the air hockey table and fuse ball table in the loft! The only complaint I have is that it was a bit noisy. There is no insulation between floors, so you can hear every footstep or every cough when you were trying to sleep. If we were sharing this with another couple, there would have been no privacy. Luckily it was just our little family, so it was ok. Other than that, we are very happy with this cabin and it's location! It had everything we wanted.
