Host Cancellation Policy
This local host has a no cancellation policy. Their policy is no refunds and no rescheduling. During winter months road conditions may require that you need a 4-wheel drive (if snow or ice is on the ground). No refunds will be given due to inability to get to cabin due to road conditions or grade of driveway.
No shows will forfeit any monies put down.
After booking, the host offers a Vacation Guarantee for 7% of your total reservation. This enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. This is an optional charge post-booking that you can elect to pay directly to the local host company.

If you choose to cancel or not use your reservation, the SmokyMountains.com Service Fee is always non-refundable.
Unit Pet Policy
This property allows a maximum of two dogs and a maximum weight per dog of 40 pounds. Even thought the unit is pet-friendly, no pets may occupy the cabin unless you have registered your dog in a pet approved cabin. If a pet is in an unapproved cabin, a fine of $200.00 will be assessed and you will be required to vacate the cabin immediately without a refund.
This property charges a non-refundable pet-fee of $75.00 plus tax per pet that will be collected after booking. The pet fee does not include any additional clean up services. You are required to clean up after dog inside/outside of the cabin. Please crate your dog when you are not at the property.

Perfect Family Getaway
I highly recommend this is a lovely cabin! It is nicely furnished, has comfy beds, and is up-to-date (don’t be deterred by a couple of outdated pics on the vrbo listing). Beautiful mountain views from large windows in the family room and every bedroom made it so pleasant each morning. Very clean – even the hot tub was well cleaned. Stocked with plenty of activities - pool table, board games, and arcade game loaded with flashbacks from the 80s. Kids enjoyed the queen sized bunk beds. We enjoyed the remote location and didn’t mind the drive to the cabin; it’s up the mountain along winding roads and a steep driveway. We would return again to enjoy this mountain retreat! (I gave a 4 out of 5 on maintenance because of a broken kitchen chair, but I'm assuming it was damaged by a recent guest. Everything else was in perfect order and well kept.)

Cabin was beautiful. Very spacious and cozy. Driveway was extremely steep, but overall a very nice secluded cabin with gorgeous views.

The house and location were very nice. The general turnover housekeeping was good however the house could use a deep clean. And also the cookware and grill could use an overhaul. The grill was so caked in grime that it was potentially a fire hazard. The fire extinguisher in the main area had been used and put back. If there had been a fire it would have been useless.
Livid guest
We have stayed twice with aunt bug rentals the first time last year and this year in November 2019. The first time I could over look the mess and uncleanliness giving anyone the chance to have my business we rented A cut above last year for Christmas we were told it would be decorated for Christmas which it was not or many be it was if you call a red rocker and an 1 inch Christmas tree. There were dead bugs and the kitchen was not clean at all. But the cabin we rented in November says it all ! When first arriving we had to sweep I honestly swept for one hour there were so many dead bugs it was evident that no one had been there to clean. The kitchen was absolutely so filthy: food crumbs and sticky substance all over counters and the refrigerator was floating in water in the inside . The beds were unclean the comforters were very dusty and dried food substance dried on one of them and the bed upstairs you could clearly tell had not been changed I assume housekeeper or who ever had taken a top sheet and placed underneath the comforter . They didn’t even put it over the unclean fitted sheet there were pubic hairs in the bathrooms the sinks mirrors and tubs were just unimaginable visible of my being unclean cobwebs made upMost of the cabin and the windows were so dirty you could hardly see out . The pool table was in a room where you couldn’t even play for no room to use your pool stick without jammming into the wall . The hot tub was a total nightmare it was cold and wouldn’t even keep a temp when placing it into one . Tv on back deck wouldn’t work and the only tv was u tube tv which was so confusing to operate that we ended up watching a program that was recorded months ago. The pots and pans in the kitchen were so sticky and absolutely so nasty we didn’t even try to use . The cabin could have been enjoyable if the 170.00 cleaning fee I was charged had been used to clean it up but I had cleaned all I intended to enough to stay t
