Host Cancellation Policy
This local host has a no cancellation policy. Their policy is no refunds and no rescheduling. During winter months road conditions may require that you need a 4-wheel drive (if snow or ice is on the ground). No refunds will be given due to inability to get to cabin due to road conditions or grade of driveway.
No shows will forfeit any monies put down.
After booking, the host offers a Vacation Guarantee for 7% of your total reservation. This enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. This is an optional charge post-booking that you can elect to pay directly to the local host company.

If you choose to cancel or not use your reservation, the SmokyMountains.com Service Fee is always non-refundable.
Unit Pet Policy
This property allows a maximum of two dogs and a maximum weight per dog of 40 pounds. Even thought the unit is pet-friendly, no pets may occupy the cabin unless you have registered your dog in a pet approved cabin. If a pet is in an unapproved cabin, a fine of $200.00 will be assessed and you will be required to vacate the cabin immediately without a refund.
This property charges a non-refundable pet-fee of $75.00 plus tax per pet that will be collected after booking. The pet fee does not include any additional clean up services. You are required to clean up after dog inside/outside of the cabin. Please crate your dog when you are not at the property.

It was Simply Serene
We had a great stay at Simply Serene. Very out of the way from town but close enough! The fenced area was fabulous for our dogs. They need to be able to sniff and exercise and while the area was small it was very adequate! The cabin was very clean. Bring your own salt and pepper and dish soap ��. We ate in town at the Bullfish Grill - absolutely marvelous.
The private cabin
The vacation was good but too hot which wasn’t your fault. The cabin was good but no lighting on the screen porch which was disappointing. The two recliners were still broken. Other than that the stay was great.
Overall pleasant
We stayed in this cabin for 4 nights in August 2019. Upon arrival the signs for thw cabin were covered by foliage, but we found it. The king bed is upstairs in the loft and it is open to the whole house. Any noise or sunlight went unblocked. The queen bed downstairs is an air mattress but seemed to gold up okay for us. The lock on the door going to the screened in porch was terrible and we ended up just using the chain most of the time. The cabin is quaint and cozy kitchen was well stocked with what we needed for the week. The hot tub was nice. The cabin is secluded and quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay.
A fun get away
The cabin was very nice, clean, nicely decorated, and well furnished. The girls liked the upstairs bedroom, had fun playing pool, and tried out the hot tub. We brought our dog and the small fenced yard was nice for taking her out. We really liked the cabin but I'd be careful renting this cabin in the winter because of how steep the drive is up to the cabin.
Beautiful Location
The property management staff was great and most helpful. The cabin was clean, but needs attention. It's very dated (furniture, fixtures, etc) and the hot tub wouldn't get warm enough to use it. The cabin is in a quiet, lovely location. It is up a very steep road and driveway, so as they caution in the description, 4 wheel drive would be necessary in some conditions. The fenced area for pets is great! Overall, a nice little cabin that needs some TLC.
