Weekend get away

Great time had by all. Wish the pool was heated. Too cold to swim so it was a waste.

Marco Polo Cabin Rental

The Marco Polo cabin exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped with high end furnishings and kitchen appliances. My only bit of negative feedback would be for the property management company to correct the small ant problem in the Theater Room and remove the parental codes from the family room television. Otherwise, I highly recommend this property for your next mountain retreat. Our group of six, 3 couples had a fantastic time and plan to return in the very near future.

Amazing.!!

The overall stay was amazing outside of a few minor things such as : no batteries or low batteries in the remotes, we couldn't figure out how to heat the pool and weak wifi signal which in result we couldnt fully utilize the movie room.

Fun Family Rental

Marco Polo was a great rental for our family. The house was clean and had all the amenities (and then some) that you could need. The location to attractions, grocery store, and restaurants was good. I would defiantly rent here again! My only suggestion/warning is that there are NO directions for anything in the house. It would be nice if the management company put together a book of info for the property. Some examples of our challenges... we couldn't get the sound system to work in the movie room; the hot tub was cold when we arrived and we had to call management company to figure out how to turn on; the pool heater went off on the last day of our rental and the pool became too cold to swim in; the main tv has parental controls on it with a pass code, what is the code? Parking is a mess in the area with all the construction, what spots are we supposed to park in? The propane on the grill was empty when we arrived, is there another tank somewhere?

Pretty good stay

Overall, we had a very nice stay. The cabin (more like a house) was not as secluded as the cabins we usually stay in. Kind of reminded me of the newer style of homes/subdivisions of houses people are selling now days. We were quite close to other cabins. Because of that parking was not all that great. It was not explained prior to our arrival how to park and we received a complaint from our neighbor stating we parked in their parking. Edencrest REP contacted me explaining we only had parking for two cars in the driveway, although the cabin sleeps like 14??). We had 4 cars so 2 had to park on the streets which was a bit unsettling as the streets were very narrow and were afraid of an accident. What was really puzzling is that the neighbor that complained was parking 4 cars (in the driveway) our other neighbor seemed to have plenty of parking, we had an extra parking pad, but was told it was for emergency vehicles and that we couldn't park there. Nonetheless, we made it work, but we got off to a bit of a rocky start. The only others issues we encountered were there were ants in different parts of the house (lower bedroom/bathroom, main level bedroom/bath and half bath) could have been due to construction (there is LOTS of construction still going on of new cabins), but not entirely sure. We could never get the pool to warm-up, but didn't press the issues or contact Edencrest about it the kids enjoyed the hot tub. As I stated, overall a good stay. Despite the negative encounters, we made the best of our trip and had a very good time. The cabin was very spacious and beautiful. It was clean and felt like home for the most part. Although, we will not stay in this cabin (or Laurel estates) again we will continue to stay with Edencrest for all the GREAT experiences we have had.
