Host Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.
Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

It was beautiful, clean, spacious. My family and I were super happy with the location and view and entire cabin! One of the best locations we have been at yet.
Southern Philosophy Cabin
We rented this cabin for a birthday event where our children and grandchildren as well as my mom could get together. The property had everything that we could need, but wasn't as tidy as we would have expected. The windows along the deck on the main floor were very dirty and smeared which diminished to wonderful view. The queen bunk beds downstairs weren't made up, and there were crumbs in the top bunk. The outside grill starter didn't work,and there weren't any matches or lighter to use to light it. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place for the family, and everyone enjoyed the downstairs game room thoroughly. The large bear that kept hanging around was exciting to see, if not a little scary.

Relaxing Vacay!
We had a wonderful time staying at Southern Philosophy. The cabin was everything we’d hoped it would be. We loved the fact that the cabin had three floors/stories as each family had their own living space. We spent most of our stay downstairs in the game room playing pool, watching movies, sitting in the hot tub etc... The staff was very friendly and helpful; they called us to make sure that we were enjoying our stay and asked us if there was anything else we required. Overall, this cabin was perfect for us and accommodated 6 adults and 2 kids comfortably! We will definitely be back!
Mountain Bliss
This was our third time visiting Gatlinburg and our second time staying in Elk Springs resort. Because of the uncertainty of the pandemic and the large group we ended up traveling with it was not easy finding a cabin at the last minute. But Elk Springs Resort did not disappoint. The cabin was fleas, well stocked with items we needed, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs area was perfect for our group of five loud teenagers. They were able to have fun without bothering the adults upstairs. The resort was on top of any requests such as removing trash or even things as minor as replacing a missing hockey puck from the air hockey table. The kids loved having game night in the gazebo and the whole family enjoyed our private grassy area where we were able to play badminton. The best part was soaking in the hot tub while the fireflies lit up the evening.
In the previous reviews there were some comments about parking. But I must say the there was more than enough. We came in two large trucks plus an SUV with a trailer pulling three motorcycles. All these were packed in front of our cabin and still there was room to spare.
We will always recommend Elk Springs Resort as they have not let us down yet.
