Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center: Hours of Fun at Four Indoor Attractions
Staff Score:
4.5 / 5
The Bottom Line:

The 'All Access Pass' includes all four Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center attractions and is a great value. This pass, which is perfect for a rainy day, includes the wax museum, mirror maze, 3D theater game, and haunted attraction. When you see the quality and size of the 22,000 square foot complex, it is easy to see why it cost over $15 million to build.

The Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, which is located in Pigeon Forge near Traffic Light #1, is a collection of four attractions that cost an astounding $15 million to build! With a gigantic King Kong, New York City skyline facade, and replica of Mount Rushmore towering over the Pigeon Forge Parkway, this attraction is impossible to miss.

Below is a brief overview of each of the four attractions:

Hollywood Wax Museum

The Hollywood Wax Museum features dozens of life-like replicas of your favorite stars in the 22,000 square foot, two-level museum. Many of Hollywood’s most familiar faces including Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Arnold Schwarzenegger, can be found here. In addition to Hollywood’s typical stars, the musical industry is well represented with Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Taylor Swift, and many more present!

This museum is different than most wax museums. Instead of placing the wax figures behind glass, they are out in the open where you can pose for photos with them. In fact, most of the wax figures have props that you can use to make the photos more complete! (Full Review of Wax Museum here.)

Outbreak – Dread the Undead

Outbreak – Dread the Undead! is a walk-through, haunted attraction that follows a zombie outbreak storyline. After a quick orientation video, you will enter an experimental biotech lab filled with zombies. The animatronics and live actors are guaranteed to have you screaming and wondering what is around the next corner! A combination of loud air blasts, pitch blackness, live actor jump scares, and even light spray will leave you thoroughly spooked. Prepare to laugh, scream, and enjoy this well-executed zombie attraction.

-Although this is a scary, intense experience, the zombies and staff will not physically touch you at any time. Also, if you decide it is too intense, you can exit early at any time through one of the ‘escape’ doors or by informing a nearby zombie.
-Note: Due to the intense nature of this attraction, we do not recommend Outbreak – Dread the Undead! for guests under the age of ten years old.

Castle of Chaos

Upon entering the 5D theater room, buckle up and get ready for a non-stop shooter game. Castle of Chaos is a thrilling 5D ride where you’re seated but feel like you’re moving through a whole new reality. The 400 movements per second combined with excellent visuals and sound effects provides an intense experience you are sure to love.

At the end of the game, scores for each participant are shown on the big screen. Can you do better than everyone else in your group? This well-executed 5D game theater is fun for all ages and sure to please everyone in your group!

Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors

In this activity, the goal is to rescue Princess Hannah; to accomplish this task, you must make your way through a huge mirror maze full of options for which way to go! This maze has animated videos that give a back story as to what exactly happened to Hannah, and while you’re finding your way through the maze, you’ll hear Hannah calling out to you asking for help.

The maze features 288 possible turns, and some spots where you see never-ending reflections all the way around you. Mirrored walls definitely are not in short supply here along with fun archways for everyone to walk through. If simply trying to find your way out of this labyrinth doesn’t sound challenging enough, you’ll have to do it in the semi-dark with different colored lights as your main source of lighting. In addition to all of these amazing features, the maze also has special effect lighting and illusions that will have your mind spinning! This is family fun that will have everyone smiling.

Insider Tips:

-At only $10 more than a Hollywood Wax Museum admission, the ‘All Access Pass’ is a no brainer. This ticket provides you access to all four attractions described above for one low price.
-If the Castle of Chaos experience leaves you wanting more, you can add on an additional show for only $5 (substantial discount compared to stand-alone pricing).
