The Bullfish Grill

The Bullfish Grill: Great Seafood & Disappointing Steaks
The Bottom Line:

Steer clear of the overpriced steaks, but the seafood and desserts are worth trying. The Sunday Brunch is not to be missed.

The Bullfish Grill, which opened several years ago, is located next to The Inn at Christmas Place near Light #2A in Pigeon Forge. The cozy lighting, soft music, romantic atmosphere, and great service have made the Bullfish Grill a favorite restaurant for couples visiting the area.

Unless you like mediocre cuts of overpriced beef, steer clear of the ribeye, filet mignon, and filet medallions. These steaks, which had an awful plate presentation, were simultaneously both chewy and tough. Considering this place bills itself as a steakhouse specializing in “Grand Champion Angus Beef,” I was quite disappointed in both the quality and the tenderness of my steak.

While the steak fell short of my expectations, the following menu standouts are worth mentioning:

House Bread (Included)
Excellent bread with a crisp buttery exterior and soft inside.

Mozzarella Sticks ($10.99)
The mozzarella sticks are lightly fried and served with a tangy marinara sauce.

Seafood Entrées ($21.99 to $31.99)
All of the seafood, which is delivered fresh daily, is cooked perfectly and tastes fresh. The roasted red pepper cream sauce tastes wonderful on top of the fresh catch!

Chocolate Dream ($7.99)
This mouthwatering sweet treat will leave all of you chocolate lovers satisfied and coming back for more. Two layers of rich dark chocolate cake are stacked together with a creamy chocolate mousse center. It is then topped with a warm velvet chocolate sauce.

Although I was disappointed with the steaks, the high-quality seafood, and delicious desserts make this a good option for couples.
