Cancellation Policy

From date of booking until 14 days prior to arrival, cancellation is allowed. There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee deducted from your booking deposit & the remainder will be refunded back to guest. Once inside the 14 days prior to arrival there will be no refunds for any reason and all monies will be forfeited. Date or unit changes inside 14 days prior to arrival are considered cancellations.

Date changes are allowed by this host up until your 14 day prepay and cancellation date. Once you are inside the cancellation period, this host does not allow date or unit changes allowed. That is considered a cancellation.

If you cancel your reservation inside the 14 days prior to arrival your claim and refund will be handled directly between the guest and the Travel Insurance Company. You will file a claim with travel insurance company & they will require proof of cancellation reason. If you cancel outside the 14 days prior to arrival, you will be refunded your deposit less the amount of your Travel Insurance Policy.

Travel Insurance can be purchased directly from this host after booking.

Ants

This is my 3rd time staying at Whispering Pines and the 2nd in a row at this particular condo. It is a 4 bedroom condo which fits our needs well. Overall my experience was very frustrating. Our first stay there were bed bugs in our room, but when reported to the staff they did handle the situation and credited our full stay off which is the sole reason why we returned for the 2nd trip in 2017 which was much better despite the beds being in desperate need of replacement. We liked the location and setup so we returned for the 3rd time this year. This time we had ants in a few rooms and not a few, but a very large amount crawling from the window and baseboard trim. We took pictures and a video and reported to the staff. We left and came back and no one had come back so I went and complained about the 2nd time and asked for the bill to be adjusted and of course to get the situation under control. The ants were even in the pool area. You would think a little preventative maintenance would have been common sense and I assume this upkeep was not done. We did not receive a call to follow up and no credit was offered. They did replace 1 of the beds which I thought was nice, but again some common sense as it should have been done by now. My biggest frustration is the arrogance of one of the staff members that we reported this to (the same person that we did with the bed bugs) I should not have to come down twice and you would have thought a credit would have been offered. Based on this we will not be returning to the Whispering Pines or their related properties.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your recent stay. We try very hard to make sure that if you do encounter an issue that we handle it in a prompt manner. Please keep in mind that we do have three properties to take care of and our maintenance department does get to issues as soon as possible. We do apologize that you felt like we were not getting to your issue in a timely manner and had to return to the office a second time. We feel as if we did take care of the issues at hand, our maintenance department came and took care of the ant issue and also brought you a brand new mattress for your stay. Please know that we do preventative maintenance however nature sometimes has a mind of its own. We did not offer a credit due to the fact that the items that you were upset about had been taken care of. Even though you did not treat our front desk staff members in a professional and kind matter, we corrected these issues because it was the right thing to do. We wish you well and hope that you find a new lodging establishment when visiting our beautiful Pigeon Forge/Great Smoky Mountain area.

Family vacaion

Stayed in this same condo 1 year ago, bedroom doorlock still not working, recliner in sad shape.

Family Get-Away

Nice place to unwind. Close to everything!!!Clean and nice condo. Only problem was hot water and it was fixed!!! Mattresses could be better was only concern that was expressed!!

Whispering Pines 624

Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this condo. This was a great space for the 7 of us. The bed in the first bedroom could use a new mattress but everyone else staying said their beds were good. Just off the Parkway, so close to everything, but we didn't hear any noise from that, just the baseball team that came in late one night!

Whispering Pines 624 Review

Overall we really enjoyed the condo and will certainly come back to this specific condo. Very nice 4 bedroom layout for our needs. Nicely decorated and clean! My only comment would be that the beds are probably about ready for a replacement. Other than that top notch!
