Cancellation Policy

From date of booking until 14 days prior to arrival, cancellation is allowed. There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee deducted from your booking deposit & the remainder will be refunded back to guest. Once inside the 14 days prior to arrival there will be no refunds for any reason and all monies will be forfeited. Date or unit changes inside 14 days prior to arrival are considered cancellations.

Date changes are allowed by this host up until your 14 day prepay and cancellation date. Once you are inside the cancellation period, this host does not allow date or unit changes allowed. That is considered a cancellation.

If you cancel your reservation inside the 14 days prior to arrival your claim and refund will be handled directly between the guest and the Travel Insurance Company. You will file a claim with travel insurance company & they will require proof of cancellation reason. If you cancel outside the 14 days prior to arrival, you will be refunded your deposit less the amount of your Travel Insurance Policy.

Travel Insurance can be purchased directly from this host after booking.

Gonya Gatinburg Get-Away

My wife and I do hours of research, before we make a final decision as to which property we will stay at.We know what we want out of our "home away from". The pictures on your website were true to what we discovered upon our arrival.The check-in service was exceptional, thanks to Melinda. I was so lucky to have Melinda as my check-out agent as well. She asked if everything was satisfactory, to which I said "YES".The 6 of us could not have been happier. Good job Whispering Pines!The score of 4 on property location is due to the entrance at the top of Ogle Drive. You needto be aware of possible vehicles coming up Ogle Drive from the opposite direction.

Great Time With Family

We just spent a week in Whispering Pines Unit 551. It was great. We love staying at these condos. The staff are always accommodating and friendly. The facilities are clean. I would recommend Whispering Pines, Bear Cossings or Cedar Lodge, all of which I have stayed at, to anyone and everyone.

Spring Break Grandparents w/ Teenage Grand Kids

We had a wonderful time. The unit was super clean and the mountains were beautiful from our balcony. We had 3 teenage boys w/ us and they loved the space in the unit, the swimming pool and the free dvd’s.

Proud we chose Whispering Pines!

Excellent customer service from booking all the way thru check out! The condo is close to attractions & restaurants yet very quiet which made it seem like you were far away from traffic, shops, etc. Would highly recommend this property!

1. This was our 4th year staying With Resort Properties - one year at Bear Crossing and three years at Whispering Pines, and we will not be back. We were told the day before arrival, that we could check in early around 2:00 pm. My group, three adult couples arrived at Whispering Pines around 1:45, and we were told our unit was not ready, but if we would give the agent at the counter, our cell number, she would call us as she would have maid service get our room in order, and it shouldn't be long. She told us we could wait at the inside pool area as plenty of seats there. Hour went by - told room still not ready. Hour and a half went by (now 3:30 pm) room still not ready. We received a call at 3:55 - room ready. We understand normal check-in is 4:00 pm, but we were told by two different employees it would not be a problem to check in early. We wasted 2 hours waiting and no one apologized. 2. We had three senior couples in our group and we had three bedrooms and three baths - perfect (this was same unit we had in 2016). Our couples came from Savannah, Ga, Charlotte, N.C., and Atlanta, Ga. areas so we all drove our own cars which means we had three cars. We were told we could only have two parking passes that one car would have to be parked in "over-flow area". We are all in our 70's, and we did not like having to park away from our unit and walk, maybe in the dark at times. As I said we have been here three other times and parking passes were never a concern. We were told if we parked in area by our unit without parking pass, our car would be towed. Finally with a very bad attitude we were told they would give us a third parking pass, but they would write "Extra Parking Pass" across the face of it, which they did. As it turned out there were PLENTY parking spaces near the area of our unit. Why parking such a big deal? We felt like they really did not want us to stay there. Everything about this condo very nice and that is why kept returning

Thank you so much for staying with us and for being such a loyal customer! We do want you to know we appreciate you and we do our very best to make sure everything is ready upon your arrival. Our employees made a simple mistake in telling you the unit would be ready before the 4pm check-in time and for that we most sincerely apologize. October is one of the busiest times of the year and we do our very best to get all the condos ready as soon as we possibly can. Our check in time is at 4pm but if we can get a condo ready early we do let our guests check in early. In this case our employees made a mistake regarding the status of this particular condo and it was not ready early. As for parking, each condo is allotted a number of spaces based on the size of the condo. During peak season when we are completely booked full we must adhere to this policy to allow everyone to have a place to park. Many people come and go throughout the day and night and even if the parking lot does not appear completely full at the times that you see it I can assure you in October, overnight, it is completely full. We have others who bring more vehicles than is allotted as well and we must ensure our guests that are following our rules as listed clearly on our website and in your reservation confirmation to have the room to park there cars. Thanks again for staying with us and we are happy you all enjoyed the condo! Best of luck to you in the future!

Perfect Stay for our family

The cabin was clean and was perfect size for our family. We had a beautiful view. We were in perfect distance to the indoor pool. The only downfall was the WIFI connection wasn't that great and my daughter in law is in NP school and had some trouble submitting assignments. However, the WIFI guy came to the rescue that the resort had us call and all turned out well. We were also in perfect distance to everything we wanted to do. It was a very good experience. We highly recommend these condos.

Pleasant Stay!

Amazing view! Clean and spacious rooms! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities to prepare meals. All amenities were as advertised and the rental management staff were polite and accommodating. Will definitely book here in the future!
