Newly Renovated Feb 2022! Whether or not someone has told you to “Take a Hike” this is the perfect place for you to escape and relax. You can use our cabin as a base to explore the Smoky Mountains or if you prefer to stay close to the house, you can use our large yard to relax and enjoy the great outdoors without traveling anywhere. Your hike can be in the National Park or in our backyard. Unique Setting It is very unusual to find outdoor space with many vacation rentals in the Smoky Mountains. We have designed our home to be the perfect outdoor getaway for your family. You can relax in the NEW (01/2023) hot tub while enjoying the view of the large backyard. You could also relax around the fire pit while the kids are playing catch with the football or exploring the seasonal stream. The adults or kids will also have plenty of space to engage in a game of cornhole or any of the other outdoor games we have included. We also have installed a Gaga Ball pit for your group to play many games of Gaga Ball. Your whole group can participate in all of these activities while enjoying a view of Bluff Mountain. Take a Hike cabin is located on 3/4 of an acre of land 4 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. It's far enough off the beaten path to feel like an escape from the hustle and bustle of life, but minutes away from all the excitement. Indoor Space We have designed the indoor décor to allow you to enjoy many of the beautiful hiking trails that exist in the Smoky Mountains. We have given each room a name from some of the hiking trails we enjoy in the Smoky Mountains and the pictures in each room are from that specific trail. For rainy days we have stocked the indoor space with board games, books, a movie library, a pool table, and arcade with 60 classic arcade games. The movie room has RECLINING THEATER SEATS. House Layout and Amenities First Floor The driveway is level and you only have to take one step up to enter this cabin. When you enter the door you will be in the kitchen where you will find granite countertops. The kitchen and great room have an open concept that allows all the guests to interact. The high gable roof provides a very spacious feel for this room. A gas fireplace is also available from Oct 1st to April 1st. Just off the great room is a master bedroom with a King bed, double closet, and TV. This bedroom is connected to a large bathroom with a double vanity, and tiled tub/shower. Also off the great room is the full-length deck with several rocking chairs and a porch swing. You have a view of Bluff Mountain from this deck. The washer and dryer are on the first floor. Second Floor If you head upstairs you will find a private 2nd master bedroom with a king-sized bed and TV. Connected to this bedroom is another large bathroom with a double vanity and a large tiled walk-in shower. Basement If you head downstairs from the 1st floor it will take you to a large open entertainment room. You will be greeted by a surround sound theater area with comfortable, leather theater seating in front of a 65" 4k TV to watch movies or enjoy TV. This area also contains a pool table and an arcade. In the corner of this room, you will find full-size bunk beds. Off the entertainment area is a bedroom with a queen bed and Roku TV. This bedroom also has its own en-suite bathroom. If you step outside onto the patio, you'll see the expansive backyard. On this level, you can use the gas grill, an outdoor table, and a deck box stocked with some outdoor games. There is also a hot tub with plenty of privacy to relax and enjoy a view of the mountain peaks.
