Bear Hugs - Pigeon Forge Cabin

I totally enjoyed the experience. The view from the balcony was worth every dollar spent. I had the full Smokey mountain experience with the mist that came up in the morning and hung low over the dells. I slept well. The game room has it all. ��

Had a great stay in this cute cabin in the mountains so remote but still only 20 to 30 minutes from key attractions. Cabin was clean and functional and served our needs well. Kids (aged 5 and 9) enjoyed the playroom and there was plenty to to keep them occupied. Hot tub was good temp and clean. Nice outside fire pit. Had issue with wifi password but was resolved quickly. Improvement opportunities include new pots pans and general kitchen stuff - its dated and pans are no longer non stick. There is very little kitchen storage space. Appliances are old / dated. Bedrooms were fine but again furniture is dated, drawers work but not great, etc. With a bit of modernization this cabin would be even better. That said none of this detracted from enjoying our stay. You are in a rustic cabin after all. We went over new year so price was extremely high for what we got - but then this is a peak period.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. View was so nice and also enjoyed the firepit hotub, and jacuzzi. Very clean. We enjoyed very much! ��

The cabin location was perfect, in my opinion, just outside of the busy tourist traps of pigeon forge, but close enough to everything you’ll need or want to do. The amenities were great- hot tub, indoor jetted tub, lower level game room. Each tv was set up with roku for entertainment. The furniture was a little outdated, which is fine, it is a rental. The beds in the rooms were as hard as rock- we actually had to go to the store to buy a mattress topper for comfort. Bed pillows were as flat and uncomfortable. The cabin was clean, smelled clean, and everything was in working order.
One thing happened to me, during my stay, that was kind of upsetting. The first evening I was there, we were getting ready for bed, and the cabin was warm so I naturally laid on top of the quilted comforter of the upper level king bed. It didn’t take me long to realize that I was laying in something dry and crusty. We shined a light on the spot and it appear that I said laid in someone else’s old, dried, crusty vomit. I was upset over this to say the least. I messaged to owner to inform him that the cleaners has not washed all the bedding and that I had intact laid in someone’s vomit. The owner requested “photos so he could address it with the cleaners.” Well by the time he responded I had already stripped the bed, as I did not was to look at what I had just laid in. The owner was okay with no photos. But I think the most upsetting part was the fact that he didn’t even apologize.. didn’t offer to have more blankets dropped off the next day (we ended up buying a king blanket to use for our stay). He will address it with the cleaners and that was it. When someone has an unpleasant experience or something upsetting happen- you can at the very least apologize. Based on the experience with this rental owner, I will not book with Bear tracts again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and well maintained. The area was quiet but we were still close enough to see the sights. The arcade in the game room had all the old favorites. My husband really enjoyed them. In the late afternoon I would sit out on the swing on the deck enjoying the scenery. We definitely would love to come back to TN and stay at the cabin again.

Everything about this place with breathtaking and welcoming. The only issue we had was with the washing machine. The views were breathtaking. The cabin was very clean and stocked. One of the best parts was the free amenities the rental came with. We used them everyday of our stay.

This cabin checked all our boxes for a wonderful getaway. We wanted to be secluded, we wanted to have beautiful views and we wanted a game room to keep our kids entertained. This cabin had all that and more! We will be back!

We loved the views, the cleanliness, the decor, the hot tub,the porch swing, and the games!!! I have told all of my friends about this cabin and Bear Tracts. The best!!!

The cabin was very clean and cozy. You really feel at home there. It’s close to downtown Gatlinburg and pigeon forge.
