Want to experience a kitchen nicer than your own? With a solid surface tops, professional stove and high end appliances you'll love preparing in cabin meals to enjoy in your own dining area. The adults can gather in the great room while the kids play in the loft game room with classic arcade game and air hockey. End the evening in our 102 degree hot tub on the deck with mountain views.

Host Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.

Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Great Location to all the happenings

Our overall stay was great! The cabin was kinda hard to find. We call the number provided for assistance and got no answer. I almost panicked. But someone called back. However, our stay was pretty good. Great location

Faulty Alarm system

We had a decent stay but the alarm system is not connected to a monitoring system we were cooking one morning and the alarm went off for awhile before I could find the code I was given and NO ONE came on the system to see if everything was ok. Then the next night at about 1:15 in the morning the system goes off extremely loud saying there was a fire and bedroom 6 the glass was BROKEN. We were HORRIFIED it woke us up out our sleep! Once we pulled it together then realized nothing was wrong we scrambled to turn it off NO ONE STILL CAME OR TRIED TO FIND OUT IF WE WERE OK. Thank goodness we were but if it had been truly an emergency we would have been DOOMED! After that the next day we packed up and left a day earlier because that faulty system had us on edge the rest of the the time.

Great Cabin... Just Don't Arrive At Night

My husband and I input the directions into Google Maps as the confirmation email suggested. We were directed mostly to the right location... The cabin is not located on the Elk Springs Lodge property, which is clearly indicated on the directions. However, it would have been most helpful to have listed the name of the property it was on as well as having someone answering the phones that night who was versed in the property. I am beyond thankful that someone did answer our call, but to be told that this was a newer property and the only person that could get us to the correct location was a maintenance person (who thankfully helped us get turned around), is a little sad. The cabin overall is very nice and we had a lovely time. I just wish the directions to get to the cabin were a bit clearer. The only other thing I wish that were different is the hot tub. It's in the back of the property and there is no view. Do also be aware that the large windows are lovely but cause the upper floor and bedroom to be pretty warm most of the day. It was just us and we mostly stayed on the bottom floor, but just something to consider overall. We enjoyed the view and the fact that there is a Publix a few miles down the road was nice as you are going to want to cook on this awesome stovetop! The overall experience was nice and was quiet and secluded and a fun honeymoon, I just would strongly suggest updating the directions and having all customer service phone reps being knowledgeable of the locations both on and off the Elk Springs property.

Very Cozy!

We were overall very pleased with Fireside Chats! It was very clean and cozy. The view was awesome especially at night with the lights from the town. The location was in close proximity to everything. We wish that the house itself was marked a little better from the main road as we came in after dark and had a little trouble finding the driveway. The kitchen was perfect for making family meals with plenty of counter space and seating for all. The furniture was great and the beds were so comfy! The only disappointment was the hottub which is in need of some attention (or possible replacement due to rust). Overall we were very pleased with this cabin and will most definitely be looking to Elksprings for our next cabin rental.

Great time

We had a great time . The cabin is beautiful and the view is phenomenal. It is on a steep hill so I was shown just how out of shape I was when climbing the stairs lol. We had one issue while we were there and the Maintenance man came out and fixed it a timely manner and he was super nice. Honestly a few amenities could use some minor fixing, but over all we were so happy we picked this cabin. It really added to our experience and we will definitely rent from Elk Springs again

Great stay!

Everything was great! They understated the hill leading up the cabin- it was very steep lol. The cabin itself was nice & cozy. The fireplace and hot tub worked great. The only thing was I wish we had more towels. They did tell us it was only a starter pack but they were so little and rough. Other than that, I'd stay here again.

Not Happy at all

First of all The cabin was not as clean as I expected considering the $2400 that I pay , there was food on the floor , the furniture was dirty and the hot tub had a smell like mold and When I booked I was misled to believe that I was renting at Elk Springs Reaort and that was not the case , I travel with my family and booked through that same link as them thinking it was for the resort and it was not but my payment confirmation was from Elk Resort So I ended up staying more then 30 min away from my family. I spoke to one of their reps and it was so disappointing their willingness to help. I left some voicemails and no call back . Overall I will never be starting with Elks Springs Resort again

Clean cabin, not good location

The cabin was nice, but it doesn’t have good view.Furniture was nice , but the internet was very poor. The upper floor bedroom has no privacy as you have to go through it to go to the games area.
