More than happy with our stay!

We visited Birchwood Lodge in August 5-11, 2016. Everyone enjoyed our stay. My grandchildren loved "the cabin". More than enough space for everyone, plenty of entertaining things for the kids. The area is very quiet and peaceful yet only a few miles from area attractions.

Great features, beautiful views!

We visited this cabin for a girls weekend in March. We had a great time, the games, sauna and hot tub added to the fun. The views were fantastic! My only complaint was the road getting up to the cabin. It was super steep (expected for a mountainside cabin) but it had disintegrating asphalt and very large potholes. Had we not been in an SUV or had the conditions been wet or icy, it may have been impossible to access.

Amazing place to stay!

We spent 3 nights in Birchwood Lodge. (July 21-24). We were so impressed - everything we needed was there. Extremely clean - my grandkids wanted to move in & were sad to leave. What stood out when I was looking for a place to stay was all the games there. Multi-video game machine, fooseball, pool table, shuffleboard & air hockey! The theatre room was amazing - the recliners, huge couch was so much fun. Needless to say, the kids were in heaven! There's something for everyone. Very private & the views were great from the wrap-around deck. You will not be disappointed!

Excellent stay!

We stayed here with our three kids, they were in love with the theater and arcade room. The sauna and hot tub were great. The house has beautiful views and great location and nicely decorated. This was by far our favorite that we have stayed at!

Perfect for the family

I stayed here in October with my parents, my sister, and our kids. The game room was exactly what we needed. It was definitely a high point. The location was great because we wanted to spend a couple of days in the National Park and a couple of days in Pigeon Forge. It was a great vacation.

November get away

We had a lovely time but you will not want to come and go too many times because the road leading to the home is scary steep.

Relaxing in the mountains.

It was really nice the cabin was clean fully stocked with every thing you need. I think they should have better direction to the cabin hard to find the actual address since you have to go up the mountains they should have name of cabin before you go up the hill so you know the cabin is up there before you go up.

While the house itself was ok, the main problem we had was with the owner and his control of the two thermostats in the home. I spent 3500 dollars for the week and had to ask permission to turn the thermostats from Ac to heat. The first night I froze and by the end of the week when the weather changed we needed the AC. You have to either call or text the owner and then hope he receives the text to ask him to change the setting on the nest thermostat control. Every mattress in the house was terrible and no one got a good night sleep. The showers on the second floor and bottom floor don't drain well, so when you took a shower you were standing in ankle high dirty water. When we first arrived in the home the house was dirty and dusty and the pots and pans we used were not clean as well as the dishes we used. We had to clean everything by hand. Last but not least, the internet there sucks.
