This cabin is not short on fun & entertainment with standup arcade game, foosball table, air hockey, pool table, & more!!! Reserve Big Bear Cinema #510 today at. No smoking allowed. This cabin has swimming pool access during the Spring/Summer. It's $12.50 per person per night above 10 people in this cabin. No charge for kids under 12. Cancellation Policy

No shows will forfeit any monies put down.

All group stays (2 or more cabins), 4 bedroom stays and larger, and stays totaling $1200.00 or more must prepay their stay 30 days in advance. No refunds or changes for cancellation of these stays.

Other than those listed above, you can cancel or change your reservations with this host. Cancellation must be at least 30 days prior to arrival in writing. A $120 cancellation fee is deducted from prepayment, no exceptions. There are no refunds or cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival for any reason. All stays are prepaid 30 days prior to your arrival.

To change a confirmed reservation, you must give at least a 30 day notice to the host and stay within 6 months of original arrival date. A $35 fee will be charged and your stay must be prepaid in full and no refund if reservation is cancelled. Reservations that are changed with the host cannot be changed or cancelled for any reason. No credit will be issued for unused portions of time in case of late arrival or early departure.

Big Bear Cinema

Every 2 to 3 years, my family vacations in the Smokies for Christmas. This year, we decided to invite some of our extended family to join us, so we were looking for something large enough to accommodate our group, plus have the amenities to appeal to all ages. We thought we found that in Big Bear Cinema. When we arrived, the cabin itself was great! It was spacious, clean, and the younger kids were excited because it had lots of stairs! But, we soon found that the cabin wasn't all we had hoped it would be. The main floor furniture needs to be in a dumpster due to it being broken and beyond worn. The pool table felt was loose and bulky to the point the balls wouldn't roll, the cue sticks were broken, the air hockey table was broken, foosball had broken/missing handles, the hot tub frame was broken, one of the arcade games couldn't be plugged in, the theater room seating had 3 out of 6 chairs that were broken, the oven burned 2 meals black at the 5 minute mark, no hot water/pressure in one of the 2nd floor bathroom sinks, many cracked and broken floor tiles throughout the cabin, a missing smoke detector on the 2nd floor (later found under the kitchen sink and the battery found in a kitchen cabinet), the front door was very difficult to shut so it would lock properly, there was really no décor in the cabin other than a few random pictures, 1 tv in 1 bedroom and it was wired to the tv in the theater room, and the list goes on and on. The cabin next to us used one of our trash bins, leaving us with no place to put our trash. We called the office 2 different days for trash pick up and no one ever came. You can imagine the amount of trash 10 people accumulated over 5 days plus Christmas. We were just terribly disappointed considering the amount of money we paid for the cabin. As far as housekeeping, the cabin was fairly clean. But, it definitely has some major maintenance issues that need to be addressed.

The cabin is dated

The location was good but the cabin seem very old no WiFi, the dining room table was not in good condition. I have stayed in much better cabins. I would not stay here again! We could hear neighbors next to us. My friend had water coming from the ceiling in the middle of the night.

Big Bear Cinema rental

The house was very spacious and enough room for all of our families. Their were some updates needs in the furniture and would be nice to have easier access to be able to play movies in the theater room, we were unable to play movies for the kids.

Disappointed

The rental company itself is great. However the cabin was very dissappointing for the money we spent. The furniture was very worn. The recliners in the "theater" room were not in great shape. 2 of them wouldn't even close. The couch on the main level came apart whenever you sat on it. The chairs in the kitchen area that had cloth on them were dirty looking. The couch/loveseat on the upper level were peeling really bad. Only 1 master had a tv and were never able to get it to work properly. The kitchen faucet had to be manauvered just right or else it wouldn't shut off. The cabin itsef was fine it just really needs refurnished. We had the bad luck of also have some super noisy neighbors, they literaly were out cooking and partying at 2am.

My Stay at Big Bear Cinema #510

It was a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay, however I do have a few complaints. The water in the Jacuzzi on the porch was dirty and we didn't know how to change it. There was a snuff jar or can on top of one of the games downstairs. The theatre didn't work and one of the seats were broken. We couldn't play pool or air hockey due to missing pieces. The T.V in the bedroom didn't work for our entire stay. The faucet in the game room didn't work properly. I really believe housekeeping didn't do a good job or didn't even attempt to clean. Other than those details we had a good time.

Big Bear Cinema #510 - not for us in the future

The location of the property is excellent to nearby Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. There are many issues with the furniture at this cabin, from being broken to completely worn out. Much of the furniture needs replacing due to age and wear. There is only one bedroom that has a television, and that television is wired with the television on the main level. This means that whatever station is being watched in the living area is what is shown on the television in the bedroom. Very disappointed each bedroom didn't have a television. The location of the cabin offers no view of the mountains due to its location in the development. First time staying with Aunt Bugs with nearly 20 years annually making the trip, but the overall condition and lack of amenities at this particular cabin will have us rethinking when we make reservations for our next annual trip to Pigeon Forge.
