All group stays (2 or more cabins), 4 bedroom stays and larger, and stays totaling $1200.00 or more must prepay their stay 30 days in advance. No refunds or changes for cancellation of these stays.
Other than those listed above, you can cancel or change your reservations with this host. Cancellation must be at least 30 days prior to arrival in writing. A $120 cancellation fee is deducted from prepayment, no exceptions. There are no refunds or cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival for any reason. All stays are prepaid 30 days prior to your arrival.
To change a confirmed reservation, you must give at least a 30 day notice to the host and stay within 6 months of original arrival date. A $35 fee will be charged and your stay must be prepaid in full and no refund if reservation is cancelled. Reservations that are changed with the host cannot be changed or cancelled for any reason. No credit will be issued for unused portions of time in case of late arrival or early departure.
Long in the tooth
Last minute decision to visit the area. Cabin selection very limited. Cabin looked good and sounded good on paper. However, cabin is in dire need of updating. Carpets are old and worn, lighting is horrific, Wifi never works.Grout has never encountered a bottle of Tilex. On the pro side, cabin is near everything and away from Pigeon Forge gridlock traffic.Would recommend to others? No
1. There is a need for better customer service, I received a call as I was driving. The caller said to send a copy of my license. I said I was driving. He said there’s someone in the car with you. Everyone has a smart phone. Really? Yes. I have 2 smart phones in my purse. But not EVERYONE can use a smart phone. This discussion was not appealing as I am driving in and knowing I have to pay for this type of service. 2. The cabin was not clean. Porch was nasty. Spider webs every where. Floor was deep in nastiness. Linens need a desperate upgrade. Tubs had dead bugs. Light bulbs were out. The handrail on the stairs was broken. Windows were so dirty you could barely see the light of day. Yet the housekeeper was asking for a tip. Really? 3. Parking was a nightmare. Parking spaces need to be reserved for cabins. 4. When you leave a message with the answering service, we deserve a call back. 5. There is a need for someone to check on cabins. For the price paid, the customer definitely deserves better. This would be a beautiful opportunity if there was a caretaker or supervisor to oversee the condition of the cabins (and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep). I am sure the owners expect this. But they are not getting it! 6. I would like the contact information for the owners. Because they deserve to know how their property is being handled. 7. I would recommend if the management and cleanliness is improved. 8. Other cabins had structural damage i.e. railings missing from porch, gutters had trees growing in them, gutter downspouts not connected, etc. 9. The number known by the management is not the same number on the cabin. #284 is no where at the property. It is posted as 739-1 and 739-2. Very confusing when calling the office. 10. Hot tub instructions were to turn off at the breaker if not heating properly. This is not a good management practice.Would recommend to others? Yes
Elizabeth, Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that your experience did not measure up to your expectations. With that said, I looked into your reservation and did not see any correspondence with our office in regards to the issues listed. Did you call in to our office at all? I am not asking to try and diminish the importance of the issues you experienced but to investigate. We do ask our guests to report any issues they have with the cabin upon arrival so that we can address any concerns that you may have. If you did I would need to see where the breakdown in communication among our staff occurred. It was actually me you spoke with while driving and I apologize if I offended you but we have to have certain information before we can allow a check in and if you are going to be late or wish to go directly to the cabin, we must have that information before releasing your cabin details to you. There are no exceptions to this rule, email is simply the easiest way to get the information when people are on the road. We are not like a hotel that has a staffed office 24-7 and if we do not have the information we need you would not have been able to get into the cabin for the night. With that said however, the condition you found the cabin in is not up to our standards and I deeply apologize. I would like to offer you a VIP card to come back and stay with us. This card has 3 different discount offers that you can choose from depending on your length of stay. My Stay At Dolly's Dream.
I went through Aunt Bug's to rent the cabin. The people that I spoke with were very polite & helpful.Upon arriving at the cabin I found it to be clean. I loved the fact that it was close to the main road in Pigeon Forge. Also that it was located within walking distance of the pool. My grandchildren loved it. The only issues I had were carpet needed updated & the patio furniture on lower deck needed to be replaced. The cushions on the chairs needed to be replaced along with the table. I bought a tablecloth for table & that worked well. Overall my family & I had a wonderful time. I would definitely use Aunt Bug's for my next cabin rental & would have no problem in renting Dolly's Dream again.Would recommend to others? Yes
The cabin was nice but not what you expect. You are not at all secluded in a cabin in the woods. The cabin is a duplex and the next cabin is literally 10 feet away on either side. The parking is minimal and we found it hard to park our large SUV. We had to drop off all passengers before parking and then the driver squeeze out. We have stayed in many condos that were cleaned to perfection but this was definitely not the case. It was not â€œdirtyâ€ but many nooks and corners have not seen cleaning in many years. The comforters are old and have dingleberries. Not to be completely negative, we adapted our mindset from what we had been expecting and still enjoyed our week. The kids enjoyed going up and down all the stairs. The kitchen is nicely stocked with ware.Would recommend to others? No

Cabins were nice, clean and location is great. On the other hand road noise was horrible. Said the resort had wifi but we never got it. I called along with 2 other families staying complaining and no one would ever let us know what the problem was. They all acted like they had no idea what was going on. Walls are also paper thin so you could hear everything next door.Would recommend to others? Yes

Dolly's Dream was a nice cabin. We loved the location since it was so close to things but sort of off the beaten patch. It is a type of duplex so at times the neighbors were noisy. We loved the jacuzzis and plenty of hot water. The dishwasher leaked all over the floor when we used it. We called maintenance and they came out the next day. Unfortunately they just put a sign that said it needed to be replaced and do not use. We had to hand wash all the dishes for our group of six which was not convenient when on vacation. The upstairs bed is very uncomfortable. Also don't expect to use the wifi. It was horrible! We loved watching the Dollywood fireworks from the driveway. The front porch with the rocking chairs and the seating on the back decks were fun.Would recommend to others? Yes
